Everything. The bagel was perfection, cherry danish was the best one I’ve ever had, and cold brew was so good too. I was visiting so I also had to get some black & white cookies to take home.

Fantastic local bakery! They have everything — pastries, bagels, bialys, cakes, breads, babkas, you name it. I loved my morning bun. It’s a flakey, gooey cinnamon pastry I’ll definitely be getting again. You can’t miss here! Highly recommend.

I was in NY for a quick trip with m y wife, and one thing I wanted to bring home to Colorado was authentic New York Rye bread. I grew up in the East, but moved to CO for the quiet. I brought home three loaves, and they were the best bread I have eaten in years. Just wished they would ship to me periodically.

By far my favorite bakery. It has quickly
Become my TO GO spot for snacks. Their Sunday surprise cookies and almond chocolate croissant are must try’s. Everything on the menu is pretty much over the top tasty.

Iconic NYC bakery. Smells great just walking in here! Quick service and enticing selection. I've had their bread at nyc restaurants. They're known for bread loaves and they'll slice them for you. Go for the sourdough. Rugalah are classics here. Staff are friendly.

Review for breakfast breads and bagels only. Breads were cool by 8AM. Pletzel was a favorite—ample seasoning and great with some goat cheese and lox (purchased elsewhere). Bagels on the smaller side and pricey, but standard for the area; better value if made at home, but satisfying on the run.

4 - Will return regularly.

No trip to the Upper East Side should be devoid of a visit to this historic baking establishment. I have been on a hunt for the best regular croissants in NYC and Orwashers is right up there in at least top 5. It is consistently flaky, buttery but has good density. Perfect for afternoon coffee. Also the sourdough, strawberry rhubarb doughnuts and sticky babka are essential binges. I'm so happy that such bakeries are still in gentrified NYC.
