This is one of my favorite restaurants to go to. I want breakfast they're open 24 hours except for Mondays which is great to know when you get a taste for something in the middle of the night.

Clearly labeled gluten free options. The fries are even in a dedicated fryer so for someone like myself with celiac that’s a big win! This wrap was so good I confirmed with my server that it was gluten free.

Our go to branch is in London so we got curious whether the NYc branch is similar quality.

In Europe, ice cream serving staff goes through a 2 wks training, so we were told. Here not sure but the flower doesn't resemble anything which the brand stands for, pretty loveless the ice cream petals were clasped on.

In London the entire cone is filled with ice cream first before they apply the flower on top - irregardless any size ot cones you buy. Given what they charge here, you get a hollow cone and some ice cream on the top for a classic cone?! Pretty disappointing effort and a rip off.

The ice cream is also creamier in London - here tastes more watery. Not the same, won't return for more on this side of the lake.

Very unfriendly staff, make sure you ask for a copy of the receipt for every member of your family. Just in case you get separated in the chaos or need to simply use the bathroom. That said, it was super busy…so somewhat understandable…didn’t make our experience any better.

Put in a simple mobile order 30 mins before arriving and the barista had no idea when my drink would be ready. I had to leave and abandon my order or be late to work.

I went here once back in like 2019 with my mother and my ex it was a nice spot really cute and designed differently than the other McDonald's in our city so I was really into it . The overall experience wasn't bad it was crowded but hey it's time's square so it's to be expected

Very long wait time for a simple Cappuccino. Expensive and didn’t taste well.
I live next door to The Grind and this is one of the best coffee shops in Hells Kitchen. The owner is lovely, the food is delicious, and ambiance is perfection. Ever since it opened up, the area has really elevated and this is a perfect spot to meet up with friends, get some work done, or have a peaceful coffee and people watch. Check it out!

Been here for brunch on Saturday. There is always waiting here so better to reserve a spot in advance. The menu was limited not that great for brunch. Food was good not bad not great just average. Tried mushroom wrap which was overloaded with only mushrooms and lacking flavor. The chicken sandwich was decent. Definitely better spots around for brunch.
Great store to browse or meet friends or make purchases that support communities at risk. They have a give and take wall where you can buy a book or coffee or the like for a stranger, and offer access to a restroom (so rare in NYC), free covid tests and plan B! Mutual aid FTW!

I understand what the hype is about. Great sweating outside, lovely service, and a great breakfast - I had their ciabatta roll with egg and bacon and extra avocado. Portion was big but if this was for lunch it would’ve been perfect. As it was my breakfast it was too big but absolutely delicious.
The espresso martini was a bit bitter but the service was so friendly it does deserve its 5*
I've known of this book store for years. I regrettably waited such a long time to come here. I've found my Mecca!

This is a great spot! I enjoyed my hibiscus sour as I looked at their book collection. They offer a lot of good books that you can purchase and then read inside or out. Must visit - especially as a chill end of evening activity.
This guys saved my lunch while travelling #solo in NY
Catched from the Italian #lookalike name, it turned out to be a great spot!
Genuine food, smart service, honest price.
Went for the Lunch offer, very good #valueformoney
Coffee is also great 👍🏻

Very tasty breakfast although a bit expensive, but probably normal for New York. Service is fast and although the place looks small (be aware that they have a second floor) you don’t have to wait long for a table. Pretty decent experience.

Why can’t LA have nice things like this? A perfect spot to kill some time before dinner as the sun is setting and you just want a quick break. A late night bar with coffee, beers, and bookshelves—I just can’t. The vibes here are great with both indoor and outdoor seating.

Such an amazing and creative atmosphere. Any writers heading to NYC simply must spend a day in the Book Club with a coffee or a wine and a laptop (although there's a strict NO laptops after 6pm rule!). Even the bathrooms are a treat, covered in book pages. Located in the very cool East Village, this is a gem not to be missed

I just want to say that I did use the bathroom, even though I didn’t buy anything…. They even allowed me to sit down and relax and catch my breath after all my sightseeing all over Times Square….nice view looking out the windows… there were lots of people though in the restaurant … pretty crowded.
I am assuming it’s is the usual MacDonald’s menu… but slightly higher prices, I presume….
I didn’t want to eat MacDonald’s as I had a Philly cheesesteak from a roadside stall…
Saw this place on our walk and popped in. Best frappe we’ve ever had and amazing food. The service was incredible and the staff so friendly especially Kosta who was amazing with the kids and made the most delicious frappe! Anyone who visits NYC should stop by this place! Phenomenal!

Loved this place! Delicious gelato and sorbet, beautifully presented, at a reasonable price. I had a large cone with stracciatella gelato and blood orange and lemon sorbets. It was all delicious and felt light - doesn't make you feel gross after eating it. They shape the flavors together into a flower on the cone. Will definitely be coming back to try some other flavors!
Really excellent food here. The beef was consistently perfect, ditto the fish. Love the veggies and the potato mash and their desserts are all excellent. They have a nice terrace and open-air interior in summer. Highly recommend.
Grind - Love this place!!!!! Their skilled baristas and smiling team goes above & beyond just high quality coffee... delicious food from hot fresh chocolate croissants, homemade cream cheese, sandwiches, plus an amazing atmosphere to enjoy. Gotta try Marco's Greek specialties, my personal fave - spanakopita!!

30 minute wait to get into the bustling cafe. I got the buttermilk chicken sandwich and a capuccino. Sandwich was good but not great. The accompanying sweet potato fries were awesome though.

Capuccino is better than local American coffee but still doesn't compare to true Australian coffee
For any Greek away from home, looking for their perfect Freddo Espresso or Freddo Cappuccino fix, this is the authentic place to go! Great selection and atmosphere!

I was traveling during summer to NYC, Niagara Falls, and Quebec Canada. While touring NYC, I was craving my daily coffee, and decided to stop by Starbucks specially this location, I’m disappointed of their service and availability of restroom for their customer, the excuse given is BS and also there were a safety issue by not having the back door open or unlocked with it’s not in compliance by the fire department authority. Adding to that, I want Starbucks to reimburse my money. So reach me please

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Amorino, an ice cream store that offers a unique and visually stunning experience. While the flavors themselves may not have been groundbreaking, the variety of choices available catered to all tastes and included all the crowd favorites.

What truly set Amarino apart was the remarkable presentation of their ice cream. Each scoop was artistically arranged in the shape of a flower, creating an eye-catching display that added an element of excitement to the overall experience. The unlimited flavor options allowed for endless combinations, making each visit a thrilling opportunity to create a personalized and visually appealing masterpiece. The ice cream creations looked absolutely amazing and were undoubtedly a feast for the eyes.

Beyond the artistic presentation, the ice cream itself delivered a delightful taste. The flavors were enjoyable, providing a satisfying and creamy indulgence. However, it's worth noting that the ice cream had a tendency to melt quickly, so it is advisable to enjoy it promptly.

In conclusion, Amarino offers a one-of-a-kind ice cream experience that goes beyond simply satisfying a sweet tooth. The array of flavors, combined with the captivating flower-shaped presentation, creates a unique and exciting atmosphere for ice cream lovers. While the flavors may not push the boundaries of innovation, the visual appeal and overall quality make Amarino a delightful destination. Just be prepared to savor your creation before it melts away.
Chic and intimate wine bar lined with big windows and set on a busy corner. The service was friendly and attentive but allowed us to enjoy our privacy. The eggplant appetizer was a great share and we enjoyed the crab ravioli and branzino. Overall, a lovely time
Great little spot at the corner with much seating outside and in the shade, dog friendly, good for pasta, charcuterie and make great coffees. Good for breathing the UWS vibe and air.

They are very disorganized and chaotic at this location. Employees just standing there not taking orders and saying that they have a 10 min wait. When they did take the order the cashier advised us it would take 15 minutes to be ready and we were like OK no worries. Then the barista made them in 2 minutes. Get it together!!! Drink also had too much ice.

Fun quick place to have brunch in NYC. Quick, friendly service. Nice waiters. Fun atmosphere.

They add a service charge when you pay with cc which is a little annoying, but. Ot enough to take a star away.

It's one of the best diners this southern boy has eaten!

"trying" to stay with a light meal, I had the chicken Cesar wrap with potato salad, and the wife had a salmon salad sandwich.

The portions were big, the quality was good too.

Don't ever stop here. They will not let you use the bathroom even if you make a purchase. They are rude and over priced and super slow. Worst McDonalds I've ever been to.
Charging $9.37 for lavender oat milk latte and not even filling the cup to the end is outrageous. In Most places in the city I drink the same for $2 less. The coffee was good but would never go back to pay so much .

Decent place for healthy brunch option, but I think it is overpriced. The food was decently good. I recommend their pato punch drink and unfortunately was charged full price for the sweet potato fries which I would definitely recommend to order.
Really nice atmosphere! The coffee is so good… it’s a nice cozy hangout area whether you’re going with friends or solo!

Ordering food is on the touch screens, which is fine. Food was usual McDonald's.
Actually getting the food was a nightmare, there is a huge mass of people (Times Square, not a shock) but the screen to know order numbers complete was broken and we had to rely on hearing the staff try and yell the number.
The staff definitely did their best, management needs to fix that issue. It was frustrating for both customers and staff (I'm sure).

Great diner experience as we had eaten at so many fancy restaurants that we just wanted a simple diner breakfast. Service was super great here and the food was what we expected and you get plenty of it. We were staying at the Hotel Chelsea (not to be confused with Chelsea Savoy Hotel, lol and this was a short walk away.

I absolutely love breakfast and brunch and when I discovered that this restaurant serves breakfast all day I had to come and try it. I will definitely come back to try other things because I really enjoyed my experience there.

The atmosphere is cozy as the bartender is,she's open to give you suggestions and well trained to make you feel like you're home. Wine and food are delicious, the pic proves it!
Great experience! The staff is super efficient and nice. Very attentive on coffee and water refills. (They actually came by to refill my water after I typed this lol) The food came out so fast and was exactly as ordered. This place can get pretty busy but they seem to have a good system down! Our first time visiting Amorino, my daughter ordered coconut and Nutella chocolate, the price for the cone and gelato was decent. You can choose how much flavor you want. You pay first and they will
Give you a number, then the staff making the flower gelato will call you and the magic begins. It was soooooo good for the hot weather. We will definitely be back
One of the best places for zines I've ever been to. Welcoming and lovely people who care about what they're doing and will gladly help you in any way they can. Staff is a joy and I sadly can't remember the name of the employee I spoke to but we had a very fun conversation about minizines. I highly recommend coming here and making a day of it and visiting the place that sells AMAZING toast right next to them.
This place is such an asset to the community AND has amazing coffee and an unrivaled selection of books! I’ve lived in the neighborhood for years and have been so happy to have a place like blue stockings to grab a new, interesting book, grab a mask or a free covid test if the need arises. Thank you for everything you do, Bluestockings team!
I live in a neighborhood with another amazing radical, LGBTQ+ friendly bookstore The Word Is Change (it’s amazing and you should check it out!!) but it’s smaller in scale and sometimes runs out of book I would like to buy. When that happens, I always come to Bluestockings and can usually find them! I also love that it’s such a welcoming space for all and provides free, essential resources for the community :-)

We walked in for the new white chocolate and macadamia nut cold brew, which they ran out of, so had the caramel frappuccino.

What we notice was the queue for the customer toilets, non customers were just walking in use the toilets and walk out.

The place just looked tired but the cold Frappuccino was refreshing.
Best coffee shop in the neighborhood! They offer seasonal drinks as well as a great food selection. The pastries are fresh and DELICIOUS! I always get an iced Americano.

We stumbled upon this place, realizing it’s a place we were years ago. Service is still great, coffee still amazing.
No flat white on the menu, but the Cortado is equally delish. Oat milk they serve is Oatley.
And today, our take away coffee was made with a bit of extra love, see picture. Thanks guys, love it.
My friend who is an Italian food connoisseur (also Italian!) believes this place is home to the best cacio e pepe in the city.. well, it didn’t disappoint!

Simple.. made w/ fresh sauce and just peppercorn, the texture for the cacio e pepe is just right.. taste is GOOD.. and it’s up there

Service was impeccable.. got to enjoy NYC balmy summer weather sitting outside (highly recommend)

If up for a change (and dare!) try the broccoli rabe.. has a bit of a bitter taste.. but it’s not terrible.. interesting and good for you!

Branzino was great. Burrata was fresh.. maple cheesecake w/ honeycomb crumble was ok.. feel you’re better off getting the bread pudding (from chatting with server)

Must get the eggplant appetizer!! Don’t even love eggplant and still couldn’t get enough of it

Btw our server Emir was AWESOME!

A hidden gem in NYC. I took my son there since we were too early for the dinner. I googled a place close by our restaurant and was open during the holiday, the Book Club popped up. The seats were nicely arranged, people were chill, and everyone was reading a book. My four-year-old picked a bench and read five books. There's one star taken off for the drink, we forgot to order the drink so I don't know how it tasted. We'll come back for sure.

Crowded and slow, to be expected. The digital display showing orders, as the employee stated, was inaccurate. No way to track order progress. How could they get something so basic wrong?

15 minutes for a drink is ridiculous, and you have to listen very intentionally to hear the numbers called out.
The caffe latte with oat milk ♥ I’m not a coffee connoisseur and don’t know much about coffee, but this was just really good coffee. My friend ordered the basil pesto gnocchi and it was light and not too Al dente. I ordered the fried eggplant salad and this red lump came out hahaha. I was surprised because it was not what I expected, but it was SO much better.

One of the worst brunches I’ve ever had. Genuinely no effort is put into the food here - eggs, hash browns, and gravy all clearly had no salt and pepper on them! Not only is it generic, but you’re paying over 20 bucks for any entree, which is ridiculous even in midtown. Staff is not very attentive, and we had to wait 30+ minutes to get a check when it was clearly not busy. Would have given it one star but they had Cholua so I could at least drown out the bland with hot sauce. Photos are taken after I added seasoning btw.
Love this place. Food is always stellar and it’s well located. It’s a bit noisy at times but excellent for breakfast, lunch, and dinner ! The salads and homemade soups are my favorite for lunch. They do amazing salmon and other entrees as well. Their homemade baked goods are insane too.

Great little spot for working or reading, or grabbing some coffee. Imposes a natural quiet atmosphere. So probably wouldn’t be the best place for a conference call or chatting, unless you took it outside (they have front and back outside seating).

For laptop/work be warned: There is no Wifi here AND no places to power/ charge. They also ask for no more than 90 mins of laptop time for seating sharing. And no laptop usage after 6pm at all, which is respectable.

Perfect spot for after ferry ride to the Statue of Liberty in a very cold afternoon. It was quite busy and they had run out of everything we wanted to order so we ordered tea and 3 bagels. We got 2 teas and 3 cream cheeses with each bagel 😀. Luckily we got extras instead of missing. Another funny thing was we had given our name as “Aman”but they had noted it down as “Amam” and were calling us “Adam”…we had a fun break there. Most likely they are understaffed like most places so we had to clean our own table and make space to sit inside.

Brunch was great! The stuffed French toast was a winner and the chicken salad wrap was amazing also. Needless to say I cleaned my plates. If you sit outdoors during cold weather you’ll be fine, the heaters work wonderfully. A slight draft through the cracks in the deck but your coat over your legs saves the day.

If you’re not from NYC the style of this McDonalds may be overwhelming. There are many kiosks for ordering in the main lobby, after you receive your food you may proceed to the upstairs where the seating and washrooms are located, in order to do so you must show your receipt. The view from this location is amazing, it overlooks Times Square. The location was a bit busy when I visited but nothing too unusual for New York. The washrooms were incredibly messy however and had toilet paper everywhere. If you’re looking for a clean place to have a bathroom break this isn’t it, but the quick food class McDonald service is still on par

I always have to remind them of my add ons that I paid extra for! They see the drink name when the order comes in and make it the standard way and never look at what’s CLEARLY on the cup that I asked for. That’s extremely annoying because if you don’t check before leaving they will get your drink order wrong.

Update 3/1/23 STILL not reading the orders and just making drinks however they want. So annoying that I’m placing my orders in advance and have to wait EACH TIME for the baristas to fix them.
Been here a couple of times in the past few months. I appreciate the sense of community and safety that is instantly felt when walking into the store. I love that it truly is a place that prioritizes giving back to the community. They have a single stall restroom, which is nice and clean. The books are great and the zines are always interesting! I’ve yet to try to cafe but my friends did and they had a good experience.
This place makes me want to be a reader! The reading/sitting area is so nice. They also provide free masks at the front, since they are required! Definitely check it out and support an amazing locally and queer owned business.

This is my local haven, my escape from the world! Not only is the Book Club great for picking from the newest and very eclectic selection of books, you can order coffee, beer or wine and non-alcoholic beverages. They have a selection of teas and mulled wine in the winter. They also have delicious pastries.

My favorite part about Book Club is the lasting friendships that I’ve built with the incredible staff! Mathuson, Karie, Lissa, Jude and Ben! The owners Erin and Nat are hard working and have created an amazing atmosphere in the neighborhood with Book Club.

Get there early if you want a seat at the bar or in the back, lounge area. There is also an outdoor seating area and seating goes fast!
One of two locations that I frequent; coffee is always great. Staff is always super friendly and they have really great, although slightly limited snack items too.

This book store doubles as a bar, which is a lovely concept—particularly for the kind of people who like to read alone at a bar. Although I felt that the music was too loud to get any reading done. The book selection covers most contemporary fiction and new releases (the staff recs made me laugh). They offer a rewards program for returning customers. There is very limited seating indoors, but more seats out in a back patio. Unfortunately I wasn't able to grab a seat in the whole hour I spent here, so I ended up not ordering a drink like I'd wanted to. I do think this store's concept is great and with some tweaks, it could be a wonderful experience. Be aware that no laptops are allowed past 7 PM if this is an issue for you.
Best LGBTQA bookstore and safe space in NYC. They have alot of helpful resources and a bathroom and also a place to relax and drink coffee from their cafe.
This is the experience I have had since Covid! The person behind the counter was nice and kind. Its a gorgeous space with magnificent murals! As I was trying to dissect and understand a quote on one of the murals, an immensely kind person with the best energy ever explained who Anais Nin is and their history. This person put the quote in perspective for me and I left feeling so much richer because of this interaction. Thank you Blue Stockings, I look forward to buying ALL my books from you from now on. You have helped me become the person I wish to be.
In addition, Blue stockings does such great work for vulnerable communities and NYC. I am thrilled you are here.
Thank you!

Food and service is phenomenal. Wife got Greek eggs Benedict and I got the chicken and waffles. Food presentation is great and tastes as good as it looks. Been in the area for a few days and not to happy with food and service in other places but Malibu diner hit the spot I was looking for! Definitely will recommend and will be back in the future!

Avoid this location at all costs. My nitro brew pour was at most 70% of the cup. Staff is too busy socializing behind the counter to properly pour the coffee. Starbucks customer service said to utilize the ‘barista promise’. The whole point of ordering online is because you don’t have time to go back.
MY COFFEE OASIS

Just want to update that the Chelsea refurbishment looks great. Love the seats, very comfy.

I’m very particular about my coffee, usually have a cup to start my day and another mid afternoon. Joe Coffee offers an excellent house brew. I frequent the Chelsea location. It attracts a varied and friendly crowd. They have wi-fi although I find I often like to sit and read, whether indoors or at one of the tables outside. Just a great way to unwind. The baristas are very friendly. They have a nice menu with some pleasant teas when I’m looking for a change of pace. But I really like their house brew, probably the best in the city. Their app works flawlessly and the rewards on every purchase are a nice perk. You can even order ahead via the app, convenient when you just want to grab and go.

It’s a good place to grab some refreshments before or after a visit to the Highline.

Senior manger is a disgrace for her own very polite and customer friendly staff. After spending 30 dollars on a couple of coffees, my 80 years old father was forced off his chair with the words ‘you cannot sit here’ and ‘move’. No consideration, no further lookout for alternatives. The chair was associated with a poorly placed table next to the handout but was not in the way of anything or anyone (which was noted also by the serving staff saying nothing). Must be hard finding folks when employing people disrespectful to the elderly. We just left, not coming back. Thanks for the word.

very rude Mr. JASON Crawford. He did not allow us to enter the bathroom. He closed it for no reason and was very rude. He is a person who should not serve the public. regrettable
restrooms closed. And they treat people very badly. It's a shame they give such a bad reference to Starbucks. very bad service.
Great Greek Cafe with a warm welcoming family oriented vibe for all. The cafe has an excellent atmosphere for working remotely, studying, socializing or simply enjoying some quiet time. You will be welcomed with a smile and a friendly greeting. Your presence will feel inviting and you will be remembered for your consistency and loyalty. This is by far one of my favorite cafes and I’m always open to inviting friends over for breakfast or brunch. My friends usually speak about their experience even after the event has passed. You won’t be disappointed.

I bought a whole bag of espresso coffee beans with flavors of fig, dark chocolate and orange. Can’t wait to taste them! And I really appreciated the note on the door that only 3 customers were allowed in at a time. Some customers ordered via their QR code and were waiting for their drinks outside. Felt really safe👍
This was my go to coffee joint when I worked at a gallery in Chelsea. FYI, cleanest public bathroom in that part of the city. Its so nice i feel obligated to buy a cup o' Joe before i ask if i can use the facilities.

I love their coffee. This is my first visit to this location and it didn’t disappoint. My latte was beautiful. It had silky smooth foam and delicious taste. The location is spacious and nicely decorated. They have 5 little tables, counter by the window and sitting area by the wall. The barista was friendly and did a great job.

Very Nice staff, but the Manager it was so rude. Also service takes for ever to comes and they serve and no call the name of the person. Cold coffee get water and hot coffee get cold.
