Must say I found my latest visit to stockport surprising. A step away from the main city centre, with shops and everything, you have this relaxing, peaceful pocket of the town that stuck in time for its 19th century architecture and slow pace charm. On the sunny summer days, this is a welcome change from the busy city life

Glad to see the centre is becoming a new green place to visit. Love the bus exchange with its clear signs etc.
Love the greenery and seating places to relax with lunch outside.
Love the new shops appearing.
Great new space too outside railway station.

Shopping Center is good. A lot of the big stores have closed, so it feels limited now.
Parking can be challenging as the machines do not give change, and you need to install a specific app, which is slow and cumbersome
