Small & serene, early morning, must visit park. Sounds of waves of the Lake Nippising is perfect for meditation.

Gorgeous spot along the lake

This was my favourite beach as a kid. Easy walk from my parents' house. The city has installed several nice benches away from the water and created a walkway to the beach. There are traffic lights at Lakeshore Drive, and Marshall Park Drive making crossing the street so much safer.

This charming little lake park is a quiet gem, boasting a small beach and a wonderfully unique feature - the ability to walk quite a distance into the lake while swimming. Its tranquil beauty lends itself to a romantic atmosphere.

During my visit, I took the opportunity to rest on a bench, soaking in the serene surroundings for a refreshing 30-minute break. If you're looking for a peaceful spot to unwind, this picturesque lakeside park could be your perfect destination.

Great beach for picnics (grassy area with tables) or just a day at the beach, this beach is smaller and fills up fast on weekends, provides some shade during the day and usually has nice calm water with a perfect view for sunsets. The water is very shallow so it’s great for kids, you have to walk pretty far out for deeper water to swim in. The shallow water often makes for warmer water in the late summer as well. Limited parking here since lot is small.

The park is small but beautifully kept. There are a few benches and a small sandy beach. The main attraction of this park is that it provides phenomenal sunset views over the lake. Very peaceful and quiet environment.

Beautiful park we just happened to come across while driving. Surprised there is a nice little beach as well! Dipped out toes in the water, watched people para sailing out on the water, some even got some air! Great little beach to check out, many people brought their dinner and ate at the picnic tables while they were there. Definitely recommend!
