Really awesome place to take the whole family. Excellent exhibit, my kids love it especially the tram ride and the aviation museum.

Like stepping back in time! What an experience, to learn where transport started to where we are today.
Enjoyed the tram ride extremely, especially the kids they were all smiles.

I took my young lad to MOTAT. Not our first time and certainly won’t be our last! We love this place, a tremendous amount of things to look and touch. The staff were very friendly and it was tidy. A great solo artist was playing on our most recent visit which added to the wonderful atmosphere. Parking easy to find. A must visit attraction.

We recently visited MOTAT with my two boys (7 & 8), and it was an amazing experience, especially for families with neurodiverse children like mine. My youngest is autistic, and I was initially nervous about the weekend crowd. However, the staff were incredibly supportive, providing noise earmuffs to help manage the noise levels. There were so many exciting things for the kids to see, touch, and play with, and the historical exhibits were fascinating. The facilities were top-notch, with toilets, eating areas, and seating available at every corner. Do wear comfortable footwear as there's a bit of walking involved to see everything. Definitely a 10/10 attraction – we’ll be back for more fun!

A glorious late May Sunday saw us at MOTAT.

Plenty of action for the kids and as usual the Tram ride to the Aviation Hall provides some further excitement.

Lack of the cafe was annoying, but apparently temporary. There were however some pop up stalls with coffee and snacks, but if you are after something more substantive - currently no good.

A fine day out with a steam train added in too.

The first time I saw those planes in person was an amazing experience. Their history behind during the war. Some vintage cars were my favourites. Interestingly, MOTAT has a sister-train of Melbourne.

A very interesting place to explore with a series of themed buildings to explore & interactive areas for kids.
The tram rides to the aviation museum run on a regular basis & add to the experience.
The staff were very friendly and helpful & the gift shop had some nice memorabilia.
My only negative was Google maps sent us to a small carpark on the other side of the road from MOTAT & we had to cross 4 lanes to get there.
