Beautiful Museum with a very nice small permanent collection and interesting exhibitions. Only three stars because of one very rude staff member.
I was told by the security staff that I could return the following day to see a new exhibit that was going to open. We'll, I was not, and the person at the entrance was very rude, even after I explained the situation and told him that not only I had a ticket from the day before, but I was a senior citizen and most museums in Mexico city are free for seniors.
That is not the way to treat visitors!
I'm very disappointed. Mexico city is very big and traffic is very heavy, so it took me an hour to get to museum from my hotel.
Luckily for me,
Museum and The National History museum are close by, and I was able to visit them (For free, since I'm a senior), so my afternoon was not wasted.
Train your staff better, please!

A beautiful museum with indoor and outdoor artwork to view and enjoy. Their current art collections included work by artists that not only were amazing at their craft but also had a unique connection with Mexico. An incredible place to visit if you enjoy art!

A stunning museum with two floors of exhibits and outdoor statue garden. There were a variety of exhibits featuring Mexico City artists from Abraham Ángel to Enrique Archie Verría and a visiting exhibit from John Golding. I enjoyed the variety and the setting in Chapultepec Park was serene. A must visit!

You can also find The Two Fridas by Frida Kahlo canvas in this museum.

We loved this museum. It seems like they rotate exhibits regularly, and the current ones were really well curated and displayed. You can see all the inside galleries in 60-90 minutes then spend as long as you want in the wonderful sculpt garden

Not worth the $5 to get in. The only great painting is Frida's. The rest of this "museum's" collection is subpar at best. Skip this lousy museum that is not even worth 1-Star. The employees here are jerks!

A nice museum surrounded by a garden full of art. It isn't a huge museum, but there are many interesting pieces.
There are a few sky lights in this building, which is nice and the rooms had a nice layout.
Sadly, one room was closed, and I can only assume that it is due to a change of exhibition.

I enjoyed my time here as there were many artists that I am familiar with, so it was great to see some of their other work. I have discovered new artists that I would also like to see more of.

I would visit again. I highly recommend the gardens and surrounding parks on a nice day.

85 pesos during the week and free on Sunday.
Gift shop.
Cloakroom was free of charge.
