After letting my hair grow out during the lockdown era, I was craving a big change… I took a chance one day and walked in, and asked if there was someone who specialized in short hair cuts.

It was my lucky day as Susan was sitting at the reception area and was able to get me in right away!

I showed her a few photos from my past bobbed hair days.. and she got to work. Susan took her time cutting my hair dry and then wet and then personalizing the cut for my hair type and face shape. She showed me how to style it both straight and curly, and gave me pointers on how to maintain my cut with ease.

I left the salon feeling like a new person, and have received many compliments!!

I have been going here for years. Sandra Ulloa is the very best at what she does, she cares for your hair as her own. I have requested drastic changes (color wise) not knowing if my hair can sustain. Sandra takes the time to explain the process and will advise you on what is best for your hair or if more than one session is recommended to get the the result I am seeking. I highly recommend her you won't be disappointed.

I believe the man was named Fred and he did a wonderful job on my spiral perm after giving me a haircut. Thanks also to the lady receptionist from Oregon who helped him out on the job. I couldn't be happier. To get such a professional job is worth the money.

I found MJ on the San Antonio Reddit when in need of a stylist being new in town back in 2019. Then the pandemic hit, and I didn't see him for a year. But MJ did a fantastic job on my post-pandemic hair which was literally a hot mess of stringy length and box color awfulness. He was able to correct the awfulness with his coloring prowess and alleviated the damage with great products and a great cut. I feel human again, and I can't wait to see him again more regularly.

LOVE THIS SALON! I had gone to both their locations and have been 100% satisfied both times. 💯 Most recently I when to their location at Brook Hallow. I needed to get my hair done because the next day I was a bridesmaid in my friend’s wedding. 👰🏼‍♀️ I requested for all my dead ends to be cut, I wanted a lot of layers, and I wanted my bangs to be trimmed and frame my face. I LOVE the final results and I’m LOVING how my natural wavy hair is looking. Thank you to my stylist!

Where do I even start? I basically wrecked my hair trying to follow tutorials on YouTube (please do not do this) - so I finally came to my senses and reached out to several salons.
Of a few I reached out to Medusa's (at Brook Hollow) was THE BEST. I talked to MJ and he told me just like it was, which was awesome because I was a lost soul.
After a thorough consultation and a game plan I put the box-dye down and left it to the professionals. Since then MJ has worked to perfect my hair with custom, amazing results! It's literally the best color of my life and each time he makes sure my health and aesthetics of my hair is on-point. Plus, he offered a custom tinted conditioner to keep my fiery copper locks looking fresh and vibrant af. Plus all the products are wonderfully organic, even for my sensitive scalp - no harsh chemicals and all the treatments he used were so gentle. Left my hair feeling so smooth and soft.
After 3 visits I can't stop checking myself out in the mirror because I am still in love with my hair.
