Subway

It was our first time trying the subway, not because we couldn’t afford it but because we had so many options to even put it on the list. but on this area we resorted to finally try it. Upon arriving, the room is so tiny and crowded. I was about to take pictures for documenting stuff as a tourist, but I was warned by one of the American staff that it is not allowed. They slightly shouted, and I understood maybe because there are a lot of people inside, so we brushed it all off and obeyed. Then, when it was time to order, I could really feel the eyes of that particular staff, and I could see that he was annoyed and rude at taking my orders. He then asked me twice if I really needed to add a particular ingredient to our sandwich just because it had an additional fee and asked like we could not afford it, so I said I really wanted to add it. I was already rushing our order because of the rude service of that staff, but I was glad that the cashier was calm and collected, and we went out. The food was fine, but I will probably not order again in that subway or in any subway just because of that staff. Mo

I have always liked subway a lot. But this time took a turn for the worse.... Once entering the store, my olfactory senses were delighted per usual. However, my high expectations were abruptly overturned. While picking out my sandwich, I felt a striking stare right into my eyes. As I turned my head, I found that not one but TWO of the employees had struck me with a haunting and angered stare, inciting myself to panic. Never have I felt more intimidated and unappreciated within a restaurant. AND they put a pepper in my sandwich. I did not ask for pepper. In fact, I despise pepper. Never will I return to this mockery of an establishment. Yikes!

The guy at the desk was very impolite and rude. The sub itself was almost empty but tasted ok. They ran out of most of the cheese. They didn‘t ask if I liked my sub hot and put it into the oven. Bad experience at all.

Good location and the staff at the cashier is usually friendly. But the biggest complaint is the they put so little salad in it-especially since I got the veggie option. To be fair, when the owner/manager is there and makes the sandwich herself it’s always very good. But Ive only been lucky enough to have 2 of those occasions. I can only speak for the veggie option: when other staff makes the sandwich-its consistently bad like pictured. After sampling 2 other subway stores I can confidently say this is not up to expectation.

Subway isn't a cultural experience, but it is a quick stop for a good amount of food at decent prices. I've always had decent service here. If you aren't prone to seasickness, consider grabbing your sandwich to go and taking it on the boat with you for the ride over.

Great location at the ferry terminal however that is all it has going for it. The fridge was empty of cold drinks, the staff were extremely rude, talking about their favourite music and not serving customers waiting in line until their conversation was finished. They charged a lot of money for 2 basic subs which are half the price at the other side of the harbour. There is limited seating. 4 seats outside. The bread was stale. Was hard like it was yesterdays bread rather than fresh. Poor quality from a major franchise. Subway should close this place or replace all staff.

made with fresh ingredients sandwich. you can choose your bread as you like. love their tuna and chicken terriyaki,you can add some avocado but need to add some money. drinks also available, located on a nice view..
