Come here if you aren't a local you will be watched the whole time. It is a gang neighborhood so you can trust that you're under protection. Lots of great street art, and if you need drugs look no further!
Complicated zone of you're not a local, felt super insecure going through the plaza, you get a lot of stares, I wouldn't go alone at night. If you're a tourist with a huge camera hanging from your neck and an expensive phone just avoid the area, doesn't look for beginners.
Also let you know about the main reason,why I like Carrefour. Refer to be the most like be most lovely shopping centre. Because France is lovely conutry.
Its good a ghetto look a like you can find allot of different variety things to buy but its not clean what so ever
This place and the whole Lavapies neighbourhood are amazing. It is about culture, acceptance, unique vibration and art. You can feel the newness begins from here and spreads around the world. Also it raises lots of questions. Go there and find the answers yourself.
