Heart of the gay district with fun cafes, shops, and one of Madrids oldest bars.
Great ambiance day and night, the heart of the LGBTQ+ neighborhood in Madrid
Beautiful people, awesome and quiet zone..
Not too crowded, a lot of different bars, normal prices for that area and easy to get there by subway, on foot or by train
Nice shady plaza with lost of bars and restaurants just behind one of the main shopping streets. With its own Metro station.
The plaza was very interesting, a mixed variety of different walks of life. The food was abundant, many different types of food and drink, plus a vintage store.
We were walking around Chueca with a local friend and passes through the square. It was crowded with young and older people. There's no difference.
It has a cosmopolitan ambience.

Plaza de Chueca is the centre of the Chueca barrio. In the middle of the square is the metro stop (Chueca, L5), so it's a popular meeting point as well.
