Rocco Steakhouse

My mother and I wanted to find a steakhouse in Manhattan and we came across Rocco.

The restaurant and waiters were great and brought great ambiance to our dining experience. The crab cake for the appetizer was delicious along with their cocktails.

We ordered the porterhouse steak for two and it was spot on with their temperatures. Will definitely recommend this steakhouse and make a recommendation ahead of time to try out this place. Might bring my friends here next time and try their ribeye

My experience here was great. I met with my mentor/chair and we talked business, laughed and ate. The service was impeccable, the atmosphere was nice and happy. The chef was accommodating. I would totally recommend this spot for a business lunch or a relaxed dinner for the family and/or for a date!

Porterhouse for 2 ,seafood tower for 2 thick cut bacon 🥓 and a surf and turf German potatoes and Mac and cheese every thing was delicious and a side car cocktail. A must try.

This is a 12-Star-Place! The on-site dry-aged steaks are incredible. The steak fries are a class of its own. The service is outstanding. If you’re in NYC, have an evening there!

From the moment I stepped into ROCO Steakhouse in Manhattan, I was transported to an authentic Italian atmosphere that captivated my senses. The classic, soft, and attractive decorations, combined with the moody and relaxing lighting, made for a truly enchanting experience.

The service was nothing short of superb. Attentive and friendly staff members ensured our evening was flawless, and the drinks were expertly crafted and absolutely delicious. To complement the delightful ambiance, soft and romantic music played gently in the background, creating the perfect setting for a memorable dining experience.

ROCO Steakhouse was bustling with patrons, and the sound of lively conversations filled the air, adding to the genuine, immersive Italian atmosphere. The menu offered a variety of steak, poultry, and seafood dishes, and I was delighted by my medium-rare steak – easily the best I've had in a long time. The jumbo shrimp cocktail was another phenomenal dish that left a lasting impression.

In summary, ROCO Steakhouse provided a truly unforgettable dining experience in the heart of Manhattan. From the incredible atmosphere and service to the delectable dishes, this restaurant is an absolute must-visit for anyone seeking a taste of Italy in New York City. I can't recommend it highly enough!

Not sure why this place has such high review. I visited this place at 9pm on a weekday and was very disappointed. The steak was overcooked without any flavor, beef tartare and tuna tartare are both bland and greasy (not marinated well), dessert is too sweet and even can't compare to the sweets you get at your local grocery.

Service is friendly but too busy. They can't take care of their customers really well. We were there to celebrate a special event and despite confirming with the hosts, they forgot about this and did not prepare anything in advance, nor our waiter was informed.

Very crowded and noisy at the restaurant too. You can barely hear each other. This is not a place for dating nor good steak.

Won't come again.
