Auckland Botanic Gardens Parking

Not ready for matariki event. Got here 10.40 and had to leave as no space. Not possible to park around. Disappointed.

Great place for families and also for some nature photography!

Botanical gardens is one of the major attractions in South Auckland. It is such a calm and peaceful place. I can spend hours here. In today’s hustle and bustle this is a boon.
Plenty of areas for kids and adults. I particularly like rose garden. There is specific area for dogs without leash.
Perfect place for your morning or evening walk. It is very well maintained.
There is plenty of parking available. Entrance is from multiple locations. Most of all no charges to go to the garden. It’s always busy with people having pictures or picnics. A must visit.

During busy season parking was insufficient. Properly maintained.

The parking area is conveniently located to the gardens but there isn't a lot of spaces around and can easily get full. It is also one way so you need to circle around to get out.

Always a problem to get parking here. Was just lucky someone was leaving when I arrived. Just shows how popular the Botanic Gardens are.
