The court building also houses Middletown’s Common Council, which is this review’s subject. The Council’s chamber is spacious, with public seating for roughly thirty spectators. The Aldermen are seated on the dais behind plexiglass partitions due to the ‘Rona. The person addressing the Council stands inside a booth of plexiglass. Despite all this, the amplification is of high quality, so one can hear everything, even for remote participants. On June 15th, 2021, the Orange County Libertarian Party testified before the Common Council on the topic of recreational cannabis.

Nothing wrong with the court besides the fact that their hours says 8:30am-4:30pm, but they are always closed by 4:00pm.
