Coles Banksia Grove

I don't know if this middle aged to old woman is new to the store, I have never seen her before. I asked for price adjustment on items that were scanned incorrectly. Self check out lady called over this "new woman" to sort it out. Now instead of what is meant to happen, after I showed them the ticket price from their webpage (no, it wasn't marked as 'online only exclusive deal), she fluffed around, didn't listen, had to be told 5-6 times that this is the correct procedure by me ( I grew up in Perth, educated to tertiary level, can read and look up store policies and consumer law, been shopping as an adult for 19 yrs, I am not young, but younger than the abusive "new" woman), she pointed out to me obvious things I have already seen, ie the paper instore ticket reads $17.50, like why are you telling me this? Its clearly a scanning error on the store's part so fix it without constantly arguing with me? No that didn't happen. She continued to argue with me, while I remained calm and assertive. She was clearly triggered by a younger educated woman. She really ought to get therapy as an after thought. Then she started projecting onto me, calling me rude. I had had enough of her laziness, abuse, incompetence by then so I walked away without my cart. She yelled out after me to never come back to the store smugly, then laughed loudly like a maniac. I apologise in advance if any of the lovely floor staff had to pick up her incompetence, I hope SHE was made to put back all those items for wasting my time. Got to my car, called the store manager. Asked him to review the cctv 5-10 mins prior, as don't take my word for it. He was apologetic, said he would review footage, talk to his staff then call me back today. I haven't received a call back from him today. Inline with store promises and policy which they need to honour I am still owed a free packet, plus second one at cheaper price, it was a buy 2 for $28 deal. Apart from that incompetent "new" abusive woman, all other staff members at that store I have found lovely.

UPDATE 15/03/2024
After writing in a formal complaint online, and some phone tennis since Wednesday, got a call back from Steven the manager to update on the outcome. Rude service woman was told she can not speak to any customer like that, I am always welcome back to the store, and to come in today to check out the packages at the adjusted policy price. Marita at service desk helped me, she was lovely and apologetic. I'll update the rating from 1 star to 3 star. Thank you Steven for being a responsive manager.

Not good at all. They have put a new sticker over old cookies.

Got severely injured here on Friday by a staff member with an over full roll cage and no spotter who was rushing to get the cola and drinks filled up. My back is bruised and if it had been a child or an old person this would have been very serious. Also there was another team member with pallets who didn't have a spotter and was rushing around bakery. Health and safety here isn't good enough!

Very well laid out store with plenty of free parking.
The staff in the store are extremely friendly and always willing to assist customers.

My goodness. Something has changed and this store is so poorly run. Full of lazy and toxic staff. So much so that I REFUSE to shop here now. Staff who spend their time gossiping about other staff members. Or who spend more time on their mobile on social media than even looking up. Treat you like a criminal for shopping. Expired products sold. No effort made to remove old stock. Can't even get a smile little lone a hello from staff. Instead they hover like you are a criminal. But only when they have stopped gossiping about the staff who actually do work.

Very pleasant. Plenty of parking. Shop tidy and spacious, but with a reversed layout to any other Coles I've visited. Fully delicatessen rather than a boutique one.

I always love to come shopping at coles. They has fresh vegetable and fruit. So many think on special price. The best think is close to my house.
