A combined ticket with the nearby military museum. A very well thought out museum demonstrating the stone age to the medieval period of Wroclaw and Silesia. Each floor has a leaflet in English so no information is missed out on.

Awesome places to visit during the rainy cold weekends, highly recommended 🥰🥰

I was traveling Wrocław on a rainy-windy day, and decided to visit here. Long story short, it was great overall including old and modern weapons, helmets and uniforms etc.
As the name of the museum describes, it displays artifacts from the stone ages to the modern times. It was not huge like national museums around the world, but it is still worth visiting if you are traveling Wrocław to see several European and Polish artifacts.
Upon the ticket purchase, available for student price with a proof (ISIC).

I've published seperate review for the military museum which is in the same building.
This place holds a really nice collection of items found in Silesia and has a medieval section on the ground floor, with artifacts from the Stone/Bronze and Iron ages on the 1st and 2nd floors. I particularly loved the stone age tools, like the flint shards used for cutting. To think human hands held these tools 4000 years ago is something special.
This place would be 5 stars if there was more English explanation. There is a small guide on each floor in English but generally just gives a list of the items without much context or explanation.
Almost no one there when I visited.

Nice venue and prices are fair but I found it a bit lacking and was expecting a bit more. The courtyard is very pretty for photos.

Amazing military museum with an assortment of weapons, helmets, and uniforms. I was happy to see the Sturmgewehr 44, the predecessor to the AK - 47. The museum also housed the American Thompson sub machine gun, the gun of choice for American gangsters during the Prohibition era. The archeological museum contained interesting trinkets and a full skeleton from the 1200s.

Cool archaeological museum, with dedicated rooms placed in chronological order from top floor to bottom. Well presented, good lights. The only disappointing thing was the total absence of English explanations. Nonetheless, a pleasant visit.
