Cortland at the Village

I have been living at Cortland at the Village since the end of 2022 and I love it here! I just switched to a different apartment in the neighborhood and everything is great! Maintenance always come in a timely manner! (if you put in a service request, the next day they’ll be there) Our leasing and residents office workers are amazing and helpful! Shout out to Caroline she helped with my process of transferring. Another thing is being a young black woman I feel extremely safe! We always have different events here and I really think Cortland is just the best 10/10!!!! I don’t leave reviews all the time but Cortland needed their flowers!

Miss Callie helped me with my move in process. She was very honest and when we toured I already felt at home. The security is what really sold me. It felt really safe and secure.

The clubhouse is always soo clean!! All of the pools and other amenities are extremely taken care of and maintained. The community is pretty quiet. I love that there are scheduled events for the community to really socialize. Maintenance comes really timely when requested and very communicative and warmly.

It is just such a comfortable place to live. Everything is just so convient on the app.

My great experience started with the pleasant ladies at the front desk and my leasing consultant Callie. Every encounter with Callie was beneficial and her actions helped me find a home here at Cortland at the Village. Her great attitude has been the same from beginning to end. She stayed in contact with me and kept me informed of upcoming rentals that matched my needs. Now that I am a resident, she continually checks on me and offers any assistance to further improve my experience.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Miss Callie from Cortland the Village during my move-in process, and I can't express enough how much she made the entire experience seamless and stress-free. From the very beginning, Miss Callie demonstrated exceptional patience and a genuine willingness to assist me with every detail.

Her knowledge of the property and the surrounding area was incredibly helpful, providing me with valuable insights and orientations about the city, which made my transition much smoother. Completely disappointed in my decision to relocate to this property. To pay over 2k a month to be within a complete construction zone is UNACCEPTABLE and at the least the apts in my area should have been slightly reduced to accommodate for the tacky antics and as we all know construction sometimes just has to happen on a property that’s been around many years BUT 1. All day everyday we must look at trash (they don’t even try to close the gate once done to at-least camouflage the mess) 2. Tractors and the haul truck for the dumpsters wake us up every morning well before 8 (I guess the quiet hours don’t exist for even vendors here ) 3. We are super limited in parking due to the bathtubs and toilets being stored right outside of our bedroom window (crazy ) 4. Just look at it … as a work from home employee I’m fighting the noise and the eye sores all day everyday which has made my month here so far unpleasant.

As far as the apartments goes - it is a spacious Floorplan but was horribly turned for a new tenant. The paint job is non existent because there’s so many stains and dings on walls from the previous tenants , previous tenants clothes were on the side of our washer /dyer which immediately indicates the place was not cleaned cleaned before turning over to new tenants . Disappointed actually would be an understatement of how I currently see my experience here at Cortland.

I’ve been a resident here for 3 months now and it has exceeded my expectations tremendously.

The leasing & resident teams are very prompt and thorough with communication. During the tour, Callie immediately made my boyfriend and I feel at home. She described all of the amenities in detail and provided different floor plans based on our preferences. We left the tour ready to live here immediately.

We have been here since March and have had absolutely no issues. There is 24/7 gate security, the grounds are kept immaculate (I have never seen any trash of any sort on the ground) and the amenities are beyond commendable. The community events are an amazing plus, it genuinely shows they care about their residents happiness and provide events that bring everyone together.

I recently had the pleasure of working with an outstanding leasing agent at Cortland at the Village, and I cannot express enough how impressed I am with their exceptional service. From start to finish, my leasing experience was smooth, stress-free, and incredibly positive, all thanks to Valerie.

Throughout the leasing process, she was consistently responsive and accessible. She promptly returned my calls and emails, ensuring that I was always in the loop and well-informed. With excellent communication skills and willingness to go the extra mile made me feel valued as a client.
