Cortland Decatur East

We are currently locked out of our apartment because our key fobs are not working. A key fob is the only way to unlock your apartment door. There is no manual key to use as a backup to at least be able to get access during cases like this. This is the second time in less than 48 hours that our key fobs have failed, preventing us from accessing the home we pay $3,000 a month for.

There is an app that supposedly allows access to the building. We went to the office yesterday to get our fobs and the app activated, but this clearly did not happen. Now, we have to wait who knows how long for maintenance to let us in, as there are no backup plans in place. This situation is unacceptable and unsafe, and we will definitely not be renewing our lease here.

I’ve had a wonderful experience living in this apartment. The environment is truly top-notch, providing a peaceful and serene atmosphere . The amenities are well-maintained and add a great deal of convenience to everyday living. What sets this place apart, however, is the excellent staff. They are professional, efficient, and always ready to help. A special mention must be made for Danielle, who consistently goes above and beyond in her duties. Her dedication and hard work significantly enhance the living experience here.

This apartment is more than just a place to live, it’s a community that cares. Highly recommended!

Cortland Decatur East Is Amazing 👏I'm Really Enjoying Living Here👍 I Love The Amenities & Everything That Cortland Has To Offer. They even have great community events for us to be apart of & The Maintenance Staff Is Great.They Really Get Things Done Fast & Efficiently.I Really Love The Sky Lounge Its A Amazing Place To Go To From A Long Day Of Work, It's Peaceful It Gives You A Sense Of Relief From The World & The Office Staff Is Amazing Also They Get Things Done As Well & Decatur East Is Around Alot Of Good Eating Spots Also & The Access To The Train Station Is Amazing & Convenient I Just Love where I'm At Hopefully Anyone Reading Will Love It Also 😊

I have loved living here: great quality of living, I have a great view, maintenance and leasing office staff are very efficient and nice. However.... I have been disappointed that the amenities are not accessible. For 2 months of early summer the pool and the room sun deck have been completely closed. The local staff like Cameron have been transparent and are doing their best, but 2 months of summer without a pool for an "above and beyond" apartment building does not seem like what I was advertised when I signed my lease. I rented an apartment without a real patio because of the amenities and yet I don't have access to them. Overall, I would definitely still recommend living here, but don't expect the extras to be accessible.

I’ve been living here for a year and absolutely love the plan! Staff is super nice and works with you when you need accommodations or any help. Their monthly games and activities are super engaging. The property is in a quieter area and there is never too much noise! Would 10/10 recommend to anyone!

I had an amazing experience at this property. I encountered with property manger Danielle Sierra and she targeted everything I was looking for in the upcoming season. Her professionalism exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a great home!

I’ve lived in the cortland apartments twice, both times a highlight on my experience continuing to date is the excellent customer service by the skilled maintenance employees of the building. Every time I’ve needed anything it’s been timely, diligent and understanding work. I have never had a bad experience, and to highlight a name L. Hall, has been incredibly accommodating and careful with my service animals as a wonderful side note.
