The centerpiece of the Serbian Cultural Gardens is a tiled plaza dedicated to St. Sava, the patron saint of the Serbian people. There are also busts of prominent Serbian artists and scientists, including painter Nadezda Petrovic, composer Stevan S Mokranjac, linguist & folklorist Vuk Karadzic, climate scientist Milutin Milankovic as well as the liberator, King Peter the First.
The are also busts of Petar Petrovic Njegos-bishop & ruler who lifted the spirit of the Serbian People through his poetry, Mileva Maric-brilliant Serbian physicist and mathematician and wife and scientific partner of Albert Einstein, Michael Pupin-Serbian scientist whose inventions in America linked people around the world and Nikola Tesla-"The man who lit the world".
It has been a couple of years since I visited the Serbian Cultural Garden. In the mean time, a number of new monuments have been added.
Desanka Marsimovich (bust), poet & writer, Her works emphasize forgiveness, compassion & Love.
(Serbian Orthodox Church) St. Justin Popovich.
Judge George Fisher (Djordje Shagich) 1st Serbian immigrant to the US in 1814 (at Phiadelphia). Opponent of slavery.
Jovan Cvijic-Geographer & ethnologist.
(Serbian Orthodox Church) St. Nikolai Velimirovich-Theologian & writer.
Jovan Ducic-Poet.
Novak Djokovic-Tennis champion & COVID19 vaccine denier.
Clevelander, George Victor Voinoovich-Ohio Governor.
The Serbian Garden features a central plaza with a marble cube and circular concrete seating.

The garden also holds a number of busts featuring notables such as King Peter I, founding father of Yugoslavia (1844-1921). Another is poet Petar II Petrovic-Njegos, an Orthodox Prince-Bishop and ruler of Montenegro (1813-1851).

My favorite bust is dedicated to inventor, engineer and genius Nikola Tesla (1856-1943).
