I order roughly 3 days a week from Skip the Dishes when I travel where I can't use UBER EATS. I run sales events...I buy for everyone each time. Its a lot of money.
I ordered a Mexican salad today for myself and it had the hottest spices on it I have ever had.... and my wife is Mexican. They were willing to give me 25%. I told them I don't want the money...just lunch that doesn't burn my face off. They would not budge....so I am fulfilling my promise to let you all know.

Garbage customer service, drivers prioritize UberEats over any of Skips orders. Might as well just order Uber save yourselves the struggle of wondering why your driver detours 15 minutes away each time you use their services.

I don't usually leave reviews, but I have to say I am disappointed and frustrated all around with Skip the Dishes customer service. My order (cold omelette) was delivered 30 min after leaving the restaurant (should have been 11 including construction) This was due to Skip assigning the same driver to deliver more than one order, this tripled my delivery time. Not surprising that my food was cold Skip only offered to refund me $14 of my $35.87.
Skip's protocols are setting up drivers and restaurants to receive bad reviews.

I have been delivering with skip the dishes in the North-West zone of Winnipeg. One day, I asked their in app chat support that I want to change my house, so will they change my zone according to my new address. The girl on chat said “Yes”. I changed my house and then they refused to change my zone. I got unemployed because of their untrained staff and wrong information.
Later, I emailed them to request them to change my zone. They replied and said that I have to remove all my scheduled shifts then only they will be able to change the zone. I had 5 shifts and removed all of them. I emailed them again and they refused to change my zone. This is totally unacceptable!!! I got screwed because of these newbie employees they have in their support. They stole my shifts and my money!!! Totally Disgusting!!!

Had ordered food today and the driver delivered to the wrong address at a neighbour behind our house. I walked over to collect the food. The home owner was very kind and said he informed driver it's the wrong address. Then he mentioned to me he's never used Skipthedishes or online delivery services... so how did they get his address, who knows!
So, we decided to chat to skipthedishes about the food we paid for. Their agent told us we entered wrong address. But we have an account and the address is picked up form the profile we create which in past has been working.
We also noticed our address was given as a separate line under the wrong address line in their delivery order so something is wrong with their system on how they add address.
Yet, the agent was rude and abrupt enough to insist their system is ok - when we can clearly see our address line below the wrong one in delivery note. He (Jay K) could not bother to confirm the right address and inform the driver to deliver and rectify the whole situation. Instead, he just decides to give a 50% refund and exit the chat!
So, we lose 50% of our money, we don't get the food, while facing an arrogant agent who refuses to listen or use his intelligence to understand that an already existing profile/account automatically picks up the address.
This company should be sued to oblivion! They are an absolute sham and should not be allowed to continue - disgraceful!
Tip for consumers:
Avoid this company at all costs !! Disgraceful and unhelpful staff and bad systems and no ability or care to help resolve problems for customers.

I ordered a taco salad from Wendy’s in Barrie Ontario. The salad did not have Tacos, salsa and sour cream.. the ingredients that always come with the salad. I made refund request and I was denied. This is not the first time I had poor interaction with Skip the Dishes. I do not recommend.

SkipTheDishes used to be a good service. In the beginning. You would think having competition would make them step up their game, but they have simply gotten worse over the years and it is the customers who are paying.
I've given this company numerous attempts, but for my peace of mind I have to stop using their service. I leave clear instructions on my order so that people can find my place, but at least every other order doesn't end up getting delivered, and there is never communication from the courier. If the order is delivered at all, it's usually delivered to a neighbour or the instructions are ignored entirely. This is unacceptable.
SkipTheDishes seems unconcerned with this, though trying to get a refund for something I never received is like fighting a bull. That is without including the times my order has been opened or visibly leaking.
I cannot recommend this service to anyone; it's not worth your time and energy.

Had the worst experience with them just now. I ordered some food and it was never delivered and they blamed it on me. I added clear instructions that every driver before the one I had today was able to follow but today is my last time ordering from this site. I would not recommend it. The driver still gets to keep my tip and probably my food too! Horrible experience, worst experience I've had with any restaurant service ever. I couldn't even get a full refund for my order either, just a partial refund. As someone who works in a restaurant I do not understand this and I'll be telling everyone I know not to order from Skip again.
