The city of sanjose and their overall operations of this parking garage are terrible. Someone vandalized my car in this garage and the city had no response and also asked for me to get a warrant to see the footage. This city is unhelpful when you are in crisis but will charge you an arm and leg to park here.

Looks like a San Jose city lot, but it’s not. Validation not accepted. No warning that it’s cash only until you go to pay.

Four things you need
1)exact change as the machine does not take cards nor does it deapense change without a technician.
2)a cellphone to call the company that runs the place if you have an issue
3) luck that the machine will take your ticket.
4) your sanity.
In all honesty, don't park here. Ever. I called for assistance for myself and another customer (total stranger, but wanted to help). His ticket was not being accepted by the machine. It took my $20 for the $6 charge and I got 0 change. I heard it try to give change. The guy on the phone was more concerned with the guy who's ticket was not accepted and kind of blew off my loss.
Oh and convienlenty the guard was not in the office throguh all this.

Has the signage displayed for the ParkSJ Validation, but does not actually accept validations. On multiple occasions I have put a validation card into the machine, only for it to eat the validation and still charge full price. For some reason this ParkSJ lot is always cash only as well, which is a bit suspicious. Stay away!
I entered the parking lot suspicious and leery of the costs we would endure as We would be leaving late at night on a Monday 9:30-2-am . My boyfriend ended up paying $10 to leave this parking lot. There was no ATM and no credit card acceptance upon leaving this parking lot by the way and I had to pee really badly! It was not securities fault. I repeat. it was not securities fault.Do yourself a favor men of the world: if your girlfriend has to Pee late at night, do not park here under no circumstance. Unless they are down for that pee splatter late at night. Peace and love ❤️
