Marty took me and my 2 daughters on our black taxi tour recently. His knowledge and explanations of the troubles were amazing.
He made it easy to follow and easily relatable. He was impartial but omg he was hilarious, which helped on such an emotional tour.
We could have happily gone on for longer and seen even more than we already had.
I would highly recommend.
Thank you again Marty for such a fab experience

Jimmy brought our family with 3 teenagers on a black cab tour of Belfast in March. Jimmy's knowledge and history of "the troubles" was impartial. He made the tour accessible to each of our kids; recommended books to our middle daughter, told jokes to our youngest daughter, and let the oldest daughter take photos. He shared personal stories, and gave one of our girls his coat when she got cold. Jimmy brought us into areas we wouldn't have stumbled on. I highly recommend Jimmy as a tour guide.

Jerry was a great guide and so informative. So pleasant and so forth coming with his own story. We saw what we needed to see and were impressed by the history he shared with us. A great experience from pick up to return. Just sad it wasn’t a black taxi. But we were told those cans are hard to maintain and keep in service.

Our group of 4 took a tour of Falls Rd/ Shankill Rd with Darren on 21/6/24. Darren was knowledgeable and balanced in all he said, putting things in a clear context which supplemented what we already knew. We had plenty of opportunities for taking photos and Darren answered our many questions openly and thoughtfully. We all agreed it was an absolute highlight of our first trip to Belfast and highly recommended. Thanks Darren for a great experience.

Tony was beyond wonderful, knowledgeable and compassionate when portraying all perspectives involved. This tour was invaluable in understanding The Troubles better through a warm and welcoming guide. I highly recommend this tour with Tony!

We had an excellent tour with Marty who was an interested and interesting guide. We learnt lots about identity and segregation and the centrality of these to the Troubles. Marty showed us the murals and also where murals had been removed - it was fascinating to hear the stories behind these changes. The whole tour was one of the highlights of our trip to Belfast. Highly recommend

This might be a because I’m an American so getting a tour around Belfast in one of the traditional taxis sounded awesome. Unfortunately that isn’t necessarily the case. I was picked up in a van and told that the old style taxis are being phased out due to emissions. Wish that was advertised a bit more but with that being said the rest of the tour was pretty incredible. Davy my guide was phenomenal! He had first hand experience living through “The Troubles” which made the experience so much more interesting. I highly recommend this tour.
