Great place to walk into or boat to. You can access by land or water with breathtaking views.

Crossing over the tracks from Walden Pond- you can find the boathouse where Adams woods meets Fairhaven Bay. There may be shorter routes from Fairhaven Road- but we did a loop hike from Walden. All told it was about 7 miles round trip. There are many unmarked trails, fire roads and paths on the other side of Walden it can be easy to get lost. Print out a map from online to take with you. The loop we did includes the “old chimney” as the other marker and then a pretty straight walk back to Walden- besides length, the trail is moderate and pretty flat with one or two hilly parts. The area around the boathouse is prone to flooding and can be very wet. You could also see it kayaking the Sudbury River into Fairhaven Bay
