Beautiful spot

Wonderful, easy hiking spot along the river to Egg Rock, with a lovely lookout over the convergence of the Assabet and Sudbury Rivers. An easy hour out-and-back from the parking area. Terrific idea for a walk with younger kids.

This was an interesting, unique place. I went to hike, but ended up running into a bunch of private property. Then I came to a sports club entrance that I turned around at because it's a private area as well. The hiking area around the water in the pictures I have shared was pretty, but again I ran into a private property sign and I was not allowed to loop around the water via the hiking trail because it was private property about a quarter of the way around. What I did see was nice, but confusing. Cool that you can unleash your dogs though!!
