Ambiant restaurant, very nice staff
I had the scallops, beautiful! Best I've ever had, my favourite dish to date.
Venison, deliciously tender, wish the plate had less tangy sauses, a few more chewable elements.
Partner and i shared the petit fours, i though there was too much bitter chocolate but delicious filling in that profiterole.

It's an amazing gastronomic experience. The matching wines were excellent. A celebration of Aotearoa on a plate! A special mention to the Bunker playlist 👌🏽.

From the moment we walked in it was an exceptional experience.
Our waiters were professional and helpful.
The atmosphere in the restaurant was perfect. Very cozy. They had a fire going and the lighting was dim.
The food was excellent. We loved each course as much as the last. Very fine dining but still tasty and beautifully presented.
We enjoyed the oysters. I'd say they were the freshest I've ever had. Just amazing!!

Photos do not do justice here .
110% highly recommend you trying out the food here at the bunker .
While eating had to tell the wife to pinch me to make sure I wasn’t dreaming. We done the 8course meal and all though a wee bit pricey it’s very justifiable absolutely a real treat for extreme fine dining.

All the staff are extremely friendly and definitely know how to serve and engage
In conversation . I’d say they are experts in there careers

If your yet to go please do you will be stoked you got the chance to get in there

Great work team , chefs are absolutely amazing :) will be back .. A++** 5stars

Dining at The Bunker was an extraordinary journey through the flavors of New Zealand's South, with a tasting menu expertly showcasing a fusion of fish and game. Each dish was a harmonious blend of fresh seafood from coastal waters and hearty game from rugged hinterlands, meticulously crafted to perfection. Guided by the skilled Grant, whose passion and knowledge illuminated every course, the experience was elevated to new heights. Impeccable service, refined ambiance, and a symphony of flavors made this dining experience truly unforgettable, leaving me enriched and inspired by the culinary wonders of the South of New Zealand and Queenstown

We came here for our last dinner of our one month New Zealand trip and it did not disappoint. The attention to service and detail from start to finish made the experience exceptional - we didnt even realize we were there for 3 hours.

We opted for the 5 course meal with the wine pairing option - both spectacular. Serving sizes were also great and we did not leave hungry or thirsty after the meal.

Perhaps this is so far my best dining experiences in new zealand.

Three of us, two my friends were all the way from Taiwan.

This old English style fine dining restaurant brings you back to those good old days with the elegance and thoughtful services.

Slow paced service reminds you in the past we still knew how to enjoy a good meal with a well splendid signature cocktail.

Waiters and waitress are well trained with very good knowledge about the wines so to the food menu.

Immediately you become ladies and gentlemen the way they treat you, how incredibly beautiful it could be.

What a great meal experience! It shall be one of my the most unforgettable dining memories in life.

Thank you, the Bunker ❤️
