Some very nice views across the field, a chance (for the dogs( to swim in the river, and some wooded hills on the west side of the loop. Seems like a seasonal place: in spring many parts will be flooded and in summer those parts will be swampy and buggy. But fall and winter it's perfect!

This field abutted our property on Rollingwood lane in the 1960's, and I walked through it regularly as a kid. Lots of cows. it was like my backyard. I can't think of it and not smell manure. Great memories of innocent days long since gone though. I think its so cool it has been preserved, as if someone thought to preserve a childhood memory for me. EDIT: the pic showing a trail on a steep slope may be the trail I walked at the start of my paper route. I picked up my papers at Sudbury Rd and Heaths Bridge Rd.

What a gem- this 3-mile loop was breathtaking. The field was expansive and colorful, the trail to the river and into the woods and small hills on the other side of ORNAC were also lovely. Highly recommended.
