We found this restaurant as a bib gourmand recommended place.
Indoor seating was full so, we sat outside tables.
First, the service was excellent even though we were outside 👌🏻 The menu of the day was written in Italian, so the lovely waitress translated it to us carefully. According to the menu we asked her what kind of wine she would’ve recommended. And we were very happy with our wine at the end.
We shared 3 course meal which was lovely and delicious and enough for two people.
Price/performance ratio was excellent. I definitely recommend this place for future reference 👌🏻
Oh and the bread basket 😍🤤

It’s fine food if a bit uneven in quality. The pictured lasagne was excellent, the daily pasta and amberjack were good. Desserts were decent, with the millefogue being the outstanding plate.

Cute traditional owner run Eatery in Genoa City Center, almost like a hole in the wall but when you enter it’s charming and place visited seemingly by mostly locals. Food was delicious specially the Lasagna which was one of the best I have eaten anywhere.

Lasagna was excellent. It’s a must try. Outdoor seating is very nice if you can’t get a table inside. The specialty black pasta with yellow eggplant wasn’t that good.

Great trattoria just off of the Piazza Ferrari. Service was friendly and efficient. The food was excellent if you sit in the back there’s a window where you can see your food being prepared.

We had an excellent lunch here. The insalata russa with branzino was very delicate and delicious 😋. We had tongue and calamari as main course and as dessert marinated pineapple with lime, ginger and mint. A visit to this trattoria is recommended but ensure to make a reservation.

Great service in a bustling setting. It was well organized -- tho busy, our server was very attentive. The food was excellent -- a small menu with some daily specials. The emphasis was definitely on quality! The traditional Genovese lasagna was delicious. The homemade pasta with a seafood sauce was excellent, as was the appetizer of tartare. Save room for dessert. They are all to die for.
