Lovely airfield with hard and grass runways, and really helpful staff and radio.
No Tea or coffee available until the Debs diner re opens in the summer

Great place to visit found this on my bike never been before . Stop had a nice mug of tea and some food .make sure you take cash with you for food and drink . . Lady could not help me enough as I did not have any on me . She makes a great food and tea . Enjoy so much took the other half in car to see the planes she also enjoyed it
Small local friendly exWW2 airfield now a grass landing field with a flight training centre, a flying club and clubhouse and a base for the Essex Air Ambulance helicopter
went for a 30 min flight with instructor Henry, amazing experience got to take control and even seen some elephants!!!
Had a flying lesson here. The instructor was great. The plane was great. The views were great. The airfield and accompanying cafe were great. Everyone inside was very sweet and welcoming. I would recommend a flying lesson at this Airfield any day of the week for an experience of a lifetime.
