The newly updated equipment and splash pad are a great contrast to the park before the update. I wish the main play structure was a bit more accessible but overall it's a huge improvement.

Me and my daughter do regularly. They have been rebuilding this park and it is wonderful now that playground and water park is done. However tennis court could use some sprucing, but we play on it anyway!

Not quite open yet, but if you stay on the playground they didn't mind. This grass is being resoded so you need to stay off. It's going to have a dog park. Whenever they get it done it's going to be amazing. The playground had lots of different things on it. It's designed for babies and up to 10 or so. But the rest of the park is unfinished and very large for in town. There is a game field either next to the park or on the far side of it. I couldn't tell. But either way there were several areas. I hope they open soon.

Doing construction or something not sure been a while since I've been there n only parked there waiting on a friend to text me back n didn't want to post outside her house like sum weirdo so I figured a public park was a Lil better... but even with the fence up the area was clean from any non construction debris and not all trashed at all so that's reassuring...

The park itself is fine,

However, the bathrooms are horrible. We rented a pavilion. Brought our own cleaning supplies and paper products, but others (not our group) trashed the bathrooms anyways. They smell awful. There are no doors on the stalls.

The grills are all falling apart.

The Parks department refuses to put up signs saying the pavilion has been rented.

When we arrived, another party was already there setting up. We had to explain that we had already rented it and ask them to leave. They were obviously upset.

It should not be our responsibility to make someone else pack up their stuff and leave, especially when the Parks department could just post a sign that says it has already been rented.

I found out later, WE could have posted a sign the day before, or earlier on the same day saying the pavilion is rented.

So, if you rent a pavilion put up a sign letting others know it's already taken.

Just a bit about Rose Park. It's a place to go to be alone and think, a very quiet
place to read, enjoy the peace and quiet. Thought the park is being up dated and the lay out is being change just a bit...therefore it may not be that quiet...until their done remodeling it!
