Mt Pleasant City Library

Great little historic library with excellent public WiFi access.

I know what you're most likely thinking, "A library...come on... a review of a library". But YES, the review you may not have known you needed but you DID!
This is a great little library that is super inviting and always allows me the chance to set up a make-shift office. They have great interent and quickly hand out the password/credentials to be able to get in. I have also found that when I needed to do a quickl phone call, they opened up a back office and let me kinda take it over!
My kids love the selection of books, and they always have something fun to "exchange" at the front - this month is puzzles. Not sure we are bold enough to try a puzzle someone else left, thinking maybe just maybe they didn't get all the pieces back in!

Easy to choose the books that interest me. Very friendly librarians!

I love our library and the helpful, kind and caring people that work here.

Historic building and monument that tells about settlement of the area. Didn't go inside, but it is one of over 2000 Carnegie Libraries.

The people at that Mt. Pleasant Library are so friendly and always willing to help.
The Head Librarian took time out to help a patron figure out how to put a book on her electronic devices.
Never have I seen them turn anyone down for anything.

Staff are wonderful. The library provides activities and classes. And has even found ways to encourage our children to read and get outdoors.
