My favorite restaurant and our go-to spot! Steve and Robin are our favorite servers. The food is predictably good and the ambience is guaranteed. We always get seated in a quaint little nook in the back…never disappoints!

The Grill at Quail Corners is one of our favorite restaurants in Reno. They have great food at reasonable prices and their service is wonderful. We often take our pet (Border Collie) and sit outside when weather permits and they make us feel welcome and always bring out a dish of water for our beloved pet.

When you first sit down, they bring out hot bread with whipped butter and is something we look forward to after being seated. This evening my husband began with their caeser salad followed by their grilled Halibut over ravioli and spinach. He said the Halibut was excellent and perfectly cooked (tender and flavorful). He made note that the ravioli was Particularly tasty with Great flavor and sauce. I began with their seafood tomato bisque (Excellent) followed by their Lettuce wrap which was very good. We completed our meal with a slice of banana cream pie which was a perfect ending to our meal.

Since we sat outside with our Border Collie, our server Jered first came out with a bowl of ice water for our pet (it was a warm evening) which we appreciated very much. His service was excellent throughout the evening and he stayed on top of all our needs during the meal.

All in all, this is a great place which we frequent regularly and are never disappointed.

We had a lovely lunch at The Grill. My friend and I both had the two scoop salad which was just perfect with the right amount of dressing - not too much and not too little. And my mother had the petrale sole cooked just to her liking. The service was excellent. Jerad was very personable and professional. I always love to go to this restaurant. It's one of my faves. The food is always consistent and the service is always great. Thank you!

Visiting Reno for a weekend and stumbled upon this little gem after a late day about. The staff here were so friendly and accommodating in welcoming us very close to closing time yet still providing warm and welcoming service. Food & drinks were great, too. Nice rich chicken piccata and halibut special in a rich creamy artichoke sauce. Thanks for a wonderful late dinner 😀

The service was excellent, the food was above average. We all had the specials which were either halibut or prime rib. The portion of the halibut was a little small considering it was $45.00, the 12 oz. prime rib was a good size for the price, $35.00. we had a party of 12 and the seating area was very cramped. If you were seated next to the wall and we're the first one in, everybody had to get up just to let you out. They do have a private room for big parties but it will set you back at least $200.00. Overall I would probably not return as I think it is a little expensive for what you get.

Pricey but very good. The sole piccatta is a good portion with the requisite piccatta lemon capers sauce over a bed of pasta. It was served with roasted seasonal vegetables. I recommend it. Apparently it's very popular and I can understand why.

The service is well above average and the vibe of the place is mature and professional.

Last, I enjoyed the also popular raspberry bundt cake with buttercream frosting for dessert which was rich and should be shared.

The Quill gave us a very good experience. I loved our waiter jared. I love how you can see the kitchen and you can talk to the cooks. The environment and atmosphere was very up scale. The cioppino was decent. The sauce needed to be a bit thinner with a touch of heat. Crab legs were nice but kinda small. There was plenty of clams and mussels. I wish there was more then one scallop but the bowl was plenty big. The lamb was very good but it was covered in a demi glaze. I really wish it was not covered and just placed on the sauce. Nevada is known for it's lamb and it would be nice to represent the tradition. I loved the bread and butter to start with. The wine selection was very nice and the white we chose was served chilled and with a chiller. Thank you for the great experience I will definitely be recommending Quill to people.
