Now that I have a Kayak, being in the on the river is much more enjoyable 😉 It's actually quite addicting. Soon I'll have my paddle board as well to further enjoy and explore the outdoors ✨️
Always a great time. Good place to start your river float.
Make sure to leave a car at the end somewhere or you can rent an inflatable boat from the company near here and they will drive you back. I find that a little expensive so rather just use my own boat and deal with the transportation with friends.

Great spot to access the American River trail. We had our road bikes with us and it was a great trail to ride with some great views of the sunset.
We're very lucky in Sacramento county to have access to over three hundred square miles of American River parkway.
Just a nice time with nature, great trail's. There's even a little old downtown area that's so cute. He shops restaurants in Little antique & boutique stores.
Really beautiful paved bike and waking path along the river. So nice to find urban trails like this. Clean and well-maintained.
Come here to exercise the dog, and myself, a few times a week. Always beautiful scenery, not too many people and plenty of room to run, sit and enjoy nature. The only bad thing was I got a tick on me once so I'd be on the lookout for that but other than that I will always come here.
