Great place for a hike. It gets muddy after it rains. A section was under construction while I was there.

This is such a great outdoors hike located right in the heart of San Diego,CA. If you ever want to step away from the hustle and bustle of the city and don't want or can't travel far, then look no further than Maple Canyon. And it's super deep so you see nothing but trees and plants giving you the feeling you're far away from the city. I've even seen coyotes in this canyon personally. I'll add the video of that experience in this review.

Our new favorite place to hike with kids. The bridge is nice on top but the real fun is to hike down. Turn left right in front of the bridge if you’re on 3rd and Quince. You’ll see a small hidden path that goes down into the canyon. You can park on Quince no issues.
Everything right now is super green and looks amazing. The bridge structure is perfect for pictures. The second bridge looks a lot like the steel used on the Eiffel Tower. Really impressive.
We even found some natural clay they kids played with like play doh.
We didn’t finish the whole path because it was going to get dark soon. Maybe next time.
A lot of people walking around 6 pm on Sunday but not crowded at al. Feels safe.
We took out 4 year old and he did great. Not elderly or wheelchair friendly unfortunately.

This is a nice hike that leads to a few of the bridges in this neighborhood, including the Spruce Street Suspension bridge. It's not the most exciting walk in San Diego but it's one of the more peaceful ones. Plus it's close to Little India where you can happily put the calories back on 😊

In urban area, between Bankers Hill, Mission Hills, and SD Airport/DT!!! Coyotes, birds, lots of cool nature, and a few old cabins! Amazing Bridges too!

Such a unique walking path so close to downtown! This was a very enjoyable hike, and a way to experience some nature in the city. Only downside is that there's a considerable amount of construction going on, making the place louder than ideal. Note: it is definitely more than a walk in the park, I would suggest wearing sneakers!

A good place for a short walk and so relaxing when you walk up to the bridge and go through the downtown. Good place for kids to explore nature and city lifestyle.
