Bronzeville Winery

Bronzeville Winery exceeded my expectations on my first visit. Their menu is highly appealing, starting with a variety of salads and appetizers that truly deliver. I tried the Mac and cheese appetizer, which featured delicious noodles and an array of cheeses. For my main course, I enjoyed a mushroom pasta topped with salmon—absolute perfection. I capped off my meal with a lemon drop made with tequila instead of vodka, which provided a delightful finish.

Our server, Cierra, was outstanding. She was well-informed about the menu and offered excellent recommendations, including the mushroom pasta, which was a real treat. She was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed.

The environment is sophisticated, chic, and modern, making it a great spot for a celebratory dinner. The only downside was the loud music, which made conversation difficult. Despite this, I would rate this restaurant a perfect 10/10.

The BEST veggie burger I’ve ever had was eaten here last week!! All our food was great - salmon, salad, dessert - and drinks were awesome. We’ll be back!

2nd time around our experience was wonderful! The staff was very welcoming and warm. The food was delicious-the sweet potato hummus was by far the best dish we had, it's a must-try. The Brussel sprouts were good as well, nice taste and crunch to them. We also ordered the Scottish Salmon w/ spinach and mushrooms and Wild Mushroom Papperdelle and loved them both. It was really convenient we were able to swap out/add veggies to our liking. I didn't think we'd be back after our first visit (ish happens) but i'm glad they invited us to return and we did, they really took care of us. Will be back!

This is a nice spot in Bronzeville, the ambiance, dj playing nice music , 🎶 it’s a little pricey for the wine 🍷 flights. Our food took a long time to arrive our server informed us it was a problem in the kitchen. She provided us with complimentary champagne and dessert to make up for that. Overall very enjoyable.

First time here - will definitely be back. Great food, great service & great atmosphere provided by the DJ dropping vinyl gems.

I had tastes of the veggie burger, the shrimp and grits, the French toast, the avocado toast and the fried chicken & waffles. All stellar.

They even helped me with a car issue that had nothing to do with them. Great people!

We had THE MOST amazing experience for brunch at Bronzeville Winery today!! From the time we walked in until we left, the service, vibe, and atmosphere were next level. The food was top-notch, and the bottomless mimosas are the best in the city!! We will definitely be back soon!!

I have been to BW two times, once for an event tasting and once for a birthday brunch. Both were excellent, and I think you should go! The food and drinks are amazing, and the staff is super friendly. My rating is mostly the result of poor handling of a refund. A guest in my party ordered one mimosa and was mistakenly charged $40 for bottomless mimosas. She drank that singular mimosa the entire meal. When we attempted to rectify this with the restaurant, they claimed to have processed a $52 refund. After waiting 10 days for the refund, and having our calls ignored and emails bounce back, we decided to call it quits. That was incredibly disappointing because the food/dining experience was easily 5 out of 5.

I am an honest reviewer so I will let y'all know about the food CUS IT WAS GOOD!! We had the vegan and regular burgers, the chicken & waffles, eggs, salad, some champagne on the house, and a few cocktails. All 10 out of 10. My favorite burger in Chicago is at Union in Logan Square, but this was a close second. So rich and flavorful. My friend gobbled up their birthday dessert and allegedly it was delicious. 😂

I'd highly recommend the food/ambience, but this refund issue left a sour taste in my group's mouth. Make sure to check your final bill carefully for discrepancies. We are not sure if we'd return.

Swaggy Atmosphere. Music was in the background at a level where you can still have a conversation. Nice decor & lighting. Paid attention to little details most restaurants ignore. Positive energy. Good for date or groups. Adult vibes.

Great dining experience. Dishes came out in reasonable time and at a good pace. Water stayed filled. Empty dishes promptly cleared. Lots of staff willing to answer questions or help even if they were not our waiter.
