Very good espresso for 1€.
We ate here for breakfast most days on holiday. The staff are lovely. The choice is good and it's overall very good value. We will miss it!

I very much like the smell of pastries and croissants fresh from the oven in the morning. I used to like better the mini croissants. This morning I could only find the large size croissants. Anyway they smell delicious.
A favorite where hubby and I go in the morning, invited coworkers who loved it too. Cant go wrong with their wide selection of pastries and delicious quickly served cappuccino. A cappuccino and a cornetto are about 3 euros. Order and pay with cashier, then bring your receipt at the bar. Drink and eat standing st the bar. There's street parking in front but may be hard to find weekdays past 8am, easy early or on the weekend. Tram line in front, at intersection with Policlinica.
I bumped accidentally into this place and was very happy for this! They really have the best cornetti ever!!! All the pastries and cookies/cakes looked amazing, I am hoping to come back one day to taste more of their products!
An interesting detail inside the pastry shop is the crane with running water to be enjoyed. There is also a board (in Italian only) describing history of the ancient Aqua Marcia aqueduct (it was regarded as one of the four great aqueducts of Rome), very interesting!
