very average run-of-the-mill place.
frankly I was a little disappointed because I saw so many high reviews compared to other Glen Cove area places.
It was nothing special, if anything I drank slightly lower than the others.
I ordered general tso's chicken.
It had some, but not a lot of flavor.
It was not at all spicy the way I was told it would be.
The mean itself was a little bit tough and dry inside making the pieces slightly more chewy than most.
The crispy noodles to go with the soup (or duck sauce) we're a little bit soggy as if they had been left out on a wet humid day where they lose that crisp crunch they have when they're fresh.
The wonton soup base pretty much had no flavor.
I understand that they're probably trying to avoid using MSG for the benefit of customers, But it could have at least used a little salt and pepper.
there was none on the tables and I didn't feel like getting up to ask.
Again, nothing was horrible, But I would rank it a little bit below the other places, such as China Palace.

The flavors is not like Chinese also is dirty they don’t turn on the ac and is Spence the worst food I ever had Chinese ;(
I see many positive reviews, and it seems as if we visited an entirely different restaurant. "The best Chinese food in New York"? Really? Possibly if you know the menu, you can manage there (our General Tso's Chicken was decent) but the food we were served did not encourage a second visit. The host seemed surprised that we wanted to eat in, and we were served in takeout containers. My meal arrived at the counter (there is no table service) when everyone else was finished.
For any of you that gave this place a good rating I’m convinced you don’t have taste buds. I fed this garbage to my dogs after two bites. Another inedible food establishment in Glen Cove.
Been ordering from Jade Fortune ever since i could remember, the delivery driver has even said to me he’s seen me growing up all these years. Unbelievably great service and the food is always consistent, and when it’s not i can accept it because we’re human and we make mistakes. Other than that, best takeout in Glen Cove.
Has been my go to place for Chinese food for many years. The people working there are always super friendly as well!
I love this place they are something different I promise you they are very nice one day they helped me and I appreciate them a whole lot I promise you the best Chinese food around thank you..
