I wanted to get my family member admitted here and a worker warned me that there is only 1 nurse available for over 200+ patients. The worker also let me know that it is extremely under staffed and this leads to a lot of neglect. So I had to turn away from this facility. They claim to be a small business but told me my mother would have to pay $16,000 a month for minimal care. There are huge red flags that the directors brush over. I would not recommend this facility to anybody unless you want overpriced healthcare for very little maintenance.

The Regency has been an incredible resource for our family. We started with both our parents moving in and the transition was very smooth. The staff genuinely cared for them and appreciated how difficult it was to make this kind of a life change. They helped us navigate a complicated medical situation for our Dad. When he passed recently, we were so impressed with how much support the staff gave to our mom. We could not be happier with how our well she has adjusted to life after his passing. She truly feels safe and cared for at The Regency. We cannot thank the staff at the Regency enough for the relief it brings us to hear how she is engaging and connecting like never before. This is a special place.

This is a special acknowledgement and thank you for the outstanding performance of The Regency staff. It is always a pleasure to pop in at any time of the day or day of week and to find the entrance, lobby, dining room, hallways, etc clean, nicely decorated and in general in 5* hotel quality condition. I often visit during meal times and I’m always impressed at the meal choices and restaurant quality plating and service. Selected desserts arrive after the resident finishes their meal and plate cleared. Even though there are many who need wheelchair assistance, residents aren’t rushed.
Whether I’m visiting in the lobby, library, card room, front entrance or during an activity, staff (all titles) are attentive to the residents and are friendly to visitors as well. The program activities are varied, and judging from the number of participants I've observed, very appealing. They are not just paper and white board plans to impress a surveyor (or family members) but actually occur as scheduled. BRAVO!
The other night I stopped by later than usual (around 7 pm). Given the number of residents, it amazes me that the front desk staff usually know where my aunt is. While I doubt it’s their responsibility, l it speaks to how attentive all staff are. That night I was told that my aunt went back to her room early. When I entered my aunt's room, Doreatha and other staff were about to leave my aunt’s apartment. She was neatly and cleanly tucked in (as snug as a bug in a rug) and in good spirits. The TV was on for her evening entertainment.. Another BRAVO!

The Regency At Glen Cove offers the combination of a warm, inviting and safe environment for our elderly parents along with a thoughtful and caring staff. I can finally relax and feel confident knowing that my parents are in great hands. What a relief!

The Regency Assisted Living has been a part of my entire life as my Mom has worked there for over 25 years. I see how the staff treats the residents-with kindness and compassion. The residents are treated like family by the staff. The community is full of heart and you feel the warmth as soon as you walk in. The activities are fun, too- check out their Facebook page. During these COVID months, I have seen the staff go beyond the call of duty to make sure residents are happy and feel connected. The Regency will forever remain a place that is more than an assisted living it is a home!

This newly remodeled luxurious facility is absolutely beautiful and the have such a warm and caring staff. They seem to have such patience for the residents and treat them as if they were their own grandparents. It’s very touching to watch the interaction between the aids and the residents. You can see how much they care just by the look in their eyes and faces. There is no shortage of activities there-7 days a week something is always going on and something for everyone. What better place to be than on the North Shore Gold Coast of Long Island

I have personally viewed most of the Senior & Assisted Living communities throughout Long Island. The Regency is tops!
