Always great service at this surgery by all the Admin Staff, the lovely Nurses, and the family Dr Schalk Botes whom is professional, thoroughly and rather knowledgeable about all aspect of medical that’s required. All in all the best Family Practice and Doctor in the Newcastle area.

I have attended this practice for more than 30 years and have yet to strike a Doctor that I felt was below par, also I know that this practice has a very good reputation within the health community.

I’ve been attending Brunker Road General Practice since 1985. I can’t imagine going anywhere else. I have never had reason to complain. The receptionists are welcoming & always willing to help in anyway possible. Nursing staff qualified & so friendly & ease my anxiety when it’s the injections time I have utter confidence in my doctor, he listens to my problems & always happy to discuss any questions I may have.
The waiting area is a relaxing, spotless environment.

today we were on time (who cares)with one of the most pleasant, unassuming and knowledgable doctors in the practice. not only is m..s. a doctor,but so well versed in in different fields.. keep it up GOOD DOCTOR.

Have been coming to this practice for over 22 years now. I have always found all staff and doctors to be extremely helpful and always try to accommodate you as best they can. We have moved out of Newcastle now and my greatest fear is when I can no longer travel the 2 hours to see our doctor.

Just wanted to say Dr Sutton is wonderful with our son. He understands that parents know their kids best and will listen to your concerns and take them on board. I see Carly for myself and she is always willing to try different things to help my range of health stuff. When my son was born, Mary on the desk was so wonderful in organising a last minute referral from one of the doctors as I could get an emergency appointment in Sydney.
Also the nurses have always been so great doing my son's injections! Thanks guys!

As a longstanding patient, I received no help at all from this practice in a time of need. Receptionist was dismissive and offered no alternative to attending their practice for a script when I physically could not get there because of an Achilles rupture. She could barely take the time to listen to my situation before interrupting me to tell me they simply had no appointments and that I had to be seen to get a script, despite being physically unable to do so.
