Our daughter absolutely loved her year at Piñard. She would still be attending if our family had not moved out of state. She grew socially and interpersonally during her time there, learning much about sharing, cooperation and fairness and the rudiments of friendship. Her creativity thrived with the support of great art projects and materials. And she continued to develop cognitively and intellectually through all the thematic weeks the school curriculum offers: from families, to holidays to animals, numbers and the alphabet. The teaching staff are kind, warm, caring and supportive and even seven weeks after leaving the school, our daughter, still talks about her favorite teacher. In sum, Piñard is a great place to send your child and should you do so, your daughter or son will be in very good hands.
Our son had great fun at Pinard during his year here. He has learnt so much from colors to shapes, from letters to songs. He loves the outdoor time at Central Park almost everyday and he loves working on various painting projects and showing them off to us every Friday. The teachers are so kind and caring, we are lucky to find this gem close to our home.
Our daughter has been at Pinard Nursery School since she was 15 months old, and now at 2.5yo, she’s thriving in ways we couldn't have imagined. Pinard has truly been a hidden gem for us, and I can’t help but share our amazing experience with other parents looking for something similar!
From day one, she has absolutely loved going to Pinard every day. The play-based program with its fun and engaging weekly themes has been both educational and enjoyable for her. She’s learned so much and the little friendships she’s made have been such a joy to see! They make daily trips to Central Park and frequently visit the Central Park Zoo, which she adores.
The teachers and admin have been absolutely wonderful. Being mother/daughter-owned, the environment has a family feel that we love. Their ability to engage a room full of toddlers amazes me and now with a newborn at home, I'm so thankful she has a wonderful place to go play and learn every day.
We get daily pictures and updates via Brightwheel, and every week we receive a detailed email update about what the kids have learned, the skills they worked on, and more photos.
As a small business, they rely on word of mouth, so I’m hoping to spread the word so more families can benefit from this incredible program. We can’t wait to enroll our newborn when the time comes next year!
If you’re searching for a nurturing, enriching, and engaging nursery school, I can’t recommend Pinard enough!! The transition at 15 months was easier than I expected, and drop-offs were definitely harder on me.

We love Pinard! My son has been attending for almost a year and has learned so much. He runs in every morning, eager to start his day. The teachers are very warm and loving towards the children. The kids have so much fun learning and playing all day. I would highly recommend this nursery school to any parent!
A fantastic team, professional and caring. Great location organization and communication with the families. We were blessed to have both our daughters at Pinard, from their first steps and until PreK and have the best memories. Highly recommend.
Pinard is a hidden gem that not many in the neighborhood know about! I am so happy with their program for my two year old. They go above and beyond for the kids taking them to the Central Park zoo, out for picnics, and even having a Pizza party for the kids every Friday so the parents don’t have to worry about making a lunch!
Our son (2 year old) went to Pinard for the whole school year. I can't say enough on the amount of care and support from the teachers and staff at Pinard. They demonstrated immense patience in onboarding my son and encouragement when he started to show potty-readiness. They use an app to give daily reports and pictures to keep the parents informed everyday. Highly recommend!
