Recently we had to collect new prescriptions for my elderly dad, they were ready to be picked up an hour after the GP had been to the house. Incredible service, and very efficient and helpful. Thank you!

Absolutely useless! Never have all of my prescription in stock and am always owed an item or two by them, They never answer the phone past 3pm so I can't ever check to see if my prescription is ready either instead I have to get in the car and drive 2 miles to check at the shop only to be told no it won't be ready until later or in an hour! I've got severe arthritis for Christ's sake I can't exactly walk about for an hour window shopping can I? I've just worn myself out and caused myself pain for no reason by getting in the car and driving it for 2 miles!

ARROGANT PHARMACIST - INCOMPETENT RUDE DISPENSING ASSISTANT
(Why do the owners not see that they have a problem with their staff - these reviews are shocking for a healthcare service and we cant all be wrong)

My mental health was made worse by the argumentative attitude of 'dispensing staff' and then quite unbelievably the 'locum pharmacist' and suggestions that staff had spoken about me to make me paranoid and flare up my anxiety levels.

This place has extremely rude staff with no respect for patient confidentiality - If you want your name and prescription details shouting out aloud in public and then be spoken to in a very rude manner for politely explaining that this makes you uncomfortable, then this is the place for you.

I rang today as I have done for the last 1-2 years to order my repeat prescription. The 'dispensing assistant' who answered was very loud and read my name and prescription items out loud. Upon politely explaining that this makes me uncomfortable, she first told me that no one could hear her, which is nonsense the dispensing area/office is all open plan at the counter. Then when I said that I have been in and heard other peoples business being discussed, she said if you don't like it go to your GP and collect your prescription - I told her that there was no need for that and that her attitude was not appreciated. Then she told me that "oh well, you have said that to all of us at some stage" Which is not true at all, I have asked for my name and prescription items to not be read out aloud in a public area and had words once which was clearly with this woman who is very rude and clearly lacking in the skill set, manners and professionalism to work in such an environment.

What was most concerning was the locum pharmacist getting on the phone and instead of trying to appease and smooth things over, she was really quite bombastic and argumentative wanting to tell me where I was wrong on technicalities etc, an absolute disgrace to her profession.

I'm totally gobsmacked that people who work in such roles in such delicate environments, whilst knowing peoples health conditions could be so rude and lack such tact and patient confidentiality.

Just dropped off a prescription and I carried my small Terrier into the shop to be told that no dogs were allowed. As I was carrying my dog which is no different to carrying a shopping bag the reason I was given by the pharmacist was that due to phobias and allergies dogs were not allowed! An interesting response from a qualified professional who clearly has a limited understanding of both conditions and as I only went in as there were no other customers and there is nowhere to tie the dog up outside the pharmacy I fail to see how his argument stacks up. Equally I am now sat in a cafe having a coffee with said Terrier and strangely enough no phobias or allergies evident although when I walk home I will ensure i give any member of the general public a wide berth. So come on village pharmacy take a leaf out of Cheshire Oaks policy where every shop is dog friendly. After all a dog is a persons best friend and is proven to boost positive mental health and wellbeing. I will now vote with my feet and my dispensing costs from my 6 medications attributed to the pharmacist from the NHS will be going elsewhere!

They gave me the wrong medication. I called to query it and they said oh yes we have made an error. It happens!! The fact is it shouldn't when it is being checked by 2 people. If I hadn't been medically trained myself I would perhaps not have noticed. I worry with their lack lustre attitude and attention to detail that they are going to cause serious harm to someone one day. I won't be using them again! Very unapologetic and disorganised

Utterly useless. You either have to wait ages in store for service or call using the EPS to be told it will take a week! Apparently because it's bank holiday weekend. They don't have their own website, do nothing digitally and when you complain tell you "actually we're doing aright"! I've given up and transferred to Boots. Big chain yes, but better service, opening hours and seem more grateful for your custom. I wound have given zero stars if allowed!
