This place is quality. So much fun for adults and kids. Even our dog had a great time here haha. It's free entry and they have a great range of animals. The staff are lovely and they have a little cafe as well serving amazing toasties, cakes and milkshakes. Highly recommend this place for a family day out.

Popped in, never seen a farm shop before but was in for a very happy surprise.
Me and my son stroked some animals, had a look around the shop and got some ice cream.
The lady on the till was very helpful 😁 even gave me directions as I'm from miles away

Came past this little gem by chance as was driving home from a morning out and what a fantastic experience I’m so glad I stopped to take a look inside.
Myself, husband and 11year old had a fantastic afternoon and the young lad who works there is so knowledgeable and clearly loves his job. He shown us around and gave us a petting experience of a lifetime, the cakes are lovely too. We will definitely be returning.

Fenton Farm Food offers a fantastic outing for families with young children. The abundance of small activities tailored for kids under 10 ensures that little ones are kept entertained and engaged throughout the visit. From petting zoos to mini-games, there's something to delight every child. Additionally, the convenience of purchasing fresh vegetables on-site adds a practical and educational element to the experience. Surrounded by beautiful scenery, Fenton Farm Food provides a picturesque backdrop for family fun and exploration. It's a must-visit destination for families looking to create lasting memories in a charming rural setting.

Lovely farm shop with local Cheshire produce and a small farm with donkeys, rabbits, terrapins, goats, sheep, emus and cats wandering around. Friendly staff available to help you handle the animals; a much better shopping experience with kids (all ages) than the supermarket! Paths are uneven so not easy (not impossible) with a wheelchair. Would recommend wearing wellies or old shoes if you have them, it was muddy when we visited. Doing a lot to support Christie’s charity too feels very community spirited with handmade toys and a barn full of second hand items to buy.

Absolutely loved our visit, staff were all so friendly and accommodating. Cake and ice cream were amazing! Can't wait to come back again.

WOW! What an absolute gem of a find I made the other day while out for a country drive, not far from Altrincham in the gorgeous Cheshire countryside quite literally hidden away on a country road is Fenton's Farm Foods.
A working farm with so much charm. They have loads of farm animals from pygmy goats, spring lambs, chicks, peacocks, donkeys, goats, and rabbits. All of which you can pet, stroke, feed, take selfies or even buy. On top of that feeding, petting animals is all completely Free.
As you walk under the stone arch into the courtyard you are immediately transported back in time as you make your way across the old cobbles, the sounds of wildlife and farm animals is upon you, freshly made planters and hanging baskets giving off a fresh scent of spring. Tables and chairs are situated through the middle for you to sit and enjoy the goats and chicks while you sit back and sip away on your Yorkshire Tea while a large canopy offers some shade or sit out in the sun overlooking the rolling hills of Cheshire. If you are lucky you may even be able to catch the chicks hatching from the incubators. They are dog friendly with well behaved owners, there are freely roaming animals so must be kept in leads.
As this is a working farm you can benefit from all their seasonal produce from the farm shop from fresh fruits and vegetables, daily laid eggs, grass fed meats, free range chickens, seasonal spring lamb and dairy products, along with relishes, jams, honey, bread. Some of the vegetables are covered in dirt straight from the fields, and they literally are dirt cheap.
One of the main attractions though is that of Baba’s Bakes homemade cakes, wow these are just amazing. Huge daily baked cakes and tarts, that change throughout the seasons. I sampled the Blueberry & Lemon and what a combination, fresh juicy blueberries in a soft not overly sweet sponge bursting with zesty lemon topped with a soft creamy vanilla icing. Super creamy milkshakes and ice cream from the popular Bidlea Dairies is also available.
Round the back they have a huge family play area, overlooking the donkey, goat paddocks, rabbit hutches. With everything to keep the little ones happy while you indulge in those delectable homemade cakes.
I highly recommend following their Facebook page for regular events, from BBQs, bouncy castles and fun days for all the family. Only a short drive from the M56 not far from Tatton Park.
The perfect place for a summer drive and relax amongst the beauty of rolling fields followed by a stop at Fenton's Farm Foods to release your inner child feeding the farm animals and maybe even a go on the swings.
