I have been using this store in the last 5 years to post my DHL parcel, this time round they wanted me to open my box to see the contents, refused and told them I'm happy for dhl to open the parcel but not your staff, refused posting. Went to another whsmith happily accepted the parcel without the headache, need better customer service

Unfortunately, this store is the prime example and will be used in future history lessons as to why the "high street store" failed! Peak time and i. The only "customer" £6.50 for 5 small package envelopes!

Love this shop for writing pads, books, pens, all the fancy stationary it provides and some have Post offices which is handy, My husband loves getting his magazines here every week, I must admit i do love shopping in Smiths..
best place to buy stationary, all though expensive, the sheer quality makes up for the price!

there is usually no one around store for assistance, they are either at the back in the storage section or at the cashier (pet hate)
it would be cool if there was a system to check the book stock availability on a device in the store, not waiting for the staff to use that old computer at the back

I bought some children's books here at the same price as Amazon. We had the benefit of seeing if my son likes them before purchase. Good selection and helpful staff
