Mercado Municipal San Cristobal

The most expensive breakfast I ever paid don’t go there anymore, one breakfast with toast and eggs and other one a tigrillo for both 19 dollars this is a Mercado not a luxury restaurant

Worst fruits that I have ever seen.
Pineapples and watermelons that I bought here were all rotten.

Amazing market for fruit and vegetable. We found also bulk stuff like amazing peanut butter, jam. We got about 5 times more stuff for 80 cents that elsewhere in town ; we gave some change to the lady ( like 30-40 cents and was so happy). They are more local farmers selling directly. It 's mostly a fresh produce fruit ,vegetable market . There was spaghetti sauce, pasta and detergent/ soap. Not sure of the hours, but they were open at 17:30 on a rainy day.

A small selection of fruit and veggies. If you see something you like, buy it as stock can sometimes be limited. Good place to see what's going on with the locals on the weekends at night. Local farms will sometime sell yogurt, cheese, etc out of a van outside the market at night
