Some teachers are very easy on students, while some are very harsh. Lots of great kids but lots of really questionable ones too. Don’t expect much to be done if someone does something to your kid unless parents/police are involved. Admin is more worried about covering themselves before the students. Okay school overall lots of trouble and opportunities if you look for it

Wonderful Teachers and the assistant teachers too.
Especially there was a teacher named Ms. Irene Vidakovich so kind and showed her love to the student with extra support needs. Amazing

Great school with amazing leadership from Admin staff, including Mr Choudry. The school has variety of programs that cater to all types of students. Old review I posted is no longer relevant.

I am a Thompson wife and mom. Trouble will find you if you look for it. I went to a school in a very affluent area of Toronto and we had the same issues as the Scarborough schools only our admin staff were better at hiding them. Thompson produced very intelligent and highly successful young people. If you invest the time and effort in your own education you will succeed despite your perceived obstacles. Thompson had many great teachers in my husband's time, in my kid's time and still today as I know enough of them personally. Note to parents: take an interest in your kid's education and everyone wins, especially your kids.
