Great hikes, picturesque place! The beach is great, you can choose to be on the sand or on the grass. It was busy on a hot day. We will be back for some real hiking! ( There are many you can choose from, different levels!)

Well I was a little disappointed, because they don't allow you to go to the top inside at High Point , since COVID... 😭 But it is a beautiful sight when you walk around it. Absolutely gorgeous scenery. A must for all to see. No admission fee...

Beutiful view. Best in NJ. Hopefully, it stays like this, and they don't build an Amazon/Wayfair Warehouse in the valley. But who knows anymore with NJ. The Sussex County corruption is fire hydrant that can't be shut off.

We drove up the mountain and encountered breathtaking views of NY NJ and PA as well as the Washington Monument

This was a very unique structure that I regret I was able to enter on my visit. It was closed. I would have absolutely loved to climb the inside of that structure and peer out over the world to see all the states I could. Maybe someday I will go back, who knows?
When I visited, it was on a trip back to GA. We made a quick stop so I could see the mountain. I am glad I did. This seems to be a very big park with a lot to offer. I saw a small lake with a beach area for the summer, camping areas, and picnic tables. While I was there, a snow squall was moving in so we decided to get off the mountain quickly when the alert came through. The wind made the already freezing temperatures feel soooo much colder, and it just ripped through all the clothes I was wearing. As a GA girl, this was a weather I'm NOT familiar with. I found a pretty cool seashell from the jersey shore, and I really thought that was very neat to have as a keepsake.

Great hiking spot. This monument is easy to get to by car. You can also do a 3.5 moderate hiking trail to get to the monument. Once you reach the monument, you are able to see PA, NJ, and NY. The park also offers many other hiking trails, camp sites and more.

Great views, close to the lake with a lifeguard, an ideal place for swimming with small children

I monument is breath-taking, seriously you run out of breath climbing all those steps. Totally worth it at the top though. My 5 year old made it all the way so don't be scared.
