Savannah Belles Ferry

Sorely Disappointed. My wife and I enjoyed the ride over to the Westin from the Riverwalk but the captain of the Mary Musgrove refused to take us back even though the schedule clearly stated that a return trip was scheduled and they still made the trip as we were standing on the dock. They yelled back that it was up to the captain if he wanted to carry passengers. I will not be recommending this particular ferry to anyone and will continue to lodge complaints about our treatment until a resolution is reached.

Cute boat ride if you’re visiting, just for something to do.

We enjoyed the scenery. Most of all. The Captain. I thought it was cute he came out and photo bombed us. I had zoom in. I love that captain humor. That’s what makes the moments magical and memorable.

We enjoyed our Ferry Ride! It felt very safe and we got to see a cargo ship up close.

Beautiful experience off River Street on Savannah River. This is a free ferry service with just 3 stops - the waving girl landing, the city hall landing and the Westin/convention center landing. Takes about 5 minutes at each location unless the ferry has to wait for a huge container ship to pass. You can watch huge ships come and go, while waiting. Add it to your list of must do’s while in Savannah. Worth tipping for this cool ride!

Loved this ferry ride! Loved walking out on the island, enjoyed the short walk to the South Carolina border, and the short ride back. Waterfront is incredibly nice with a lot of history (good and bad), restaurants, and shops. Cant wait to come back someday.

Great free service when staying at the Westin. We used this several times to get back and forth during our stay. Make sure you arrive a few minutes before the departure time as it does leave 2-4 minutes before its actual scheduled time. Staff is amazing and the Captain is an amazing driver.
