La Baracca

My wife and I recently celebrated our wedding anniversary at La Baracca, and it was an unforgettable experience! We ordered two of their specials the lobster pasta and the nduja pasta, both of which were absolutely fantastic.

To our surprise, when we mentioned it was our anniversary, the staff treated us to a complimentary dessert, which was a lovely touch that made our evening even more special.

The service throughout our meal was impeccable; our server recommended a wonderful bottle of wine that paired well with our dishes.

Additionally, I must mention the martinis—they are a proper pour!

Overall, La Baracca exceeded our expectations, and we can't wait to return. Highly recommend this gem!

The staff were really friendly and the patio was nice. Personally I wasn’t a fan of the food, it wasn’t bad but it taste like it lacked key ingredients which a $32 pasta dish. For a mediocre almost $300 dinner I wouldn’t go again or recommend it. The bruschetta was good but the braised baby octopus was the worst, non fresh and tasteless.

We have returned many times (for lunch and dinners) and have always enjoyed everything. Very friendly and professional service.

The food is excellent. The ingredients are always high quality, dishes are perfectly seasoned and tasty. Some of our favourites are the osso buco (outstanding!), lamb, mushroom pasta dish, and of course the homemade pistachio lava cake!!

The prices are reasonable for the area. Worth every bite…Highly recommended.

Everything about this place is amazing! It's not as busy as the other restaurants in the Kleinburg village but the service was the best we've seen. We were greeted by Wally and Gus. They were both so helpful and kind. My favorite dishes were the calamari and the deboned fish. The fish was probably one of the best I've ever had. They deboned it infront of us and the flavour was amazing. The chocolate pistachio lava cake was also so delicious. Would return again and again!

Party of 6,, from moment we arrived, staff was hospitable and welcoming. The decor was contemporary and inviting, The food, incredible.., lobster paccheri (pasta) was spectacular, homemade pistachio molten lava dessert was heavenly! Extensive wine list, excellent service. Can’t wait to go back!

Tried for the first time last night. Both my wife and I were very positively impressed. Friendly and attentive service. Everything on the menu felt enticing... and then our waiter added 15 more options as specials: it was really hard to pick 😁 Amazing food, I was really impressed by the polipo!
It's on the pricier side, but we knew going in. The main downside is that it gets loud when full and doesn't really allow for an intimate dine in experience. That being said, my wife and I will definitely go back.
