We just got back from a lovely evening at Villagio. Our server Jacob was very charming and attentive. Even though there was a large 90th birthday party, we were not forgotten. The calamari were cooked perfectly but were too salty. Jacob kept the waters coming though so it was OK. The pizza was full of flavour and the cheesecake was the best I've ever had! Light and fluffy. We will definitely be back!
Great atmosphere 👌 Justin made us feel at home. The greeting, the food and all was lovely. We will all be back. Wish they had a gf pizza!
Where do i begin? Beautiful atmosphere, went there for my anniversary after a horrible experience at another restaurant the prior night and had zero regret.

We were so amazed by the food we ordered, the drinks, and the dessert we had asked to speak to the owner of the restaurant to give our compliments as everything ordered was beyond expectation. You can tell the chef truly has a passion, all the food was made with that Italian love.
The service was amazing, our server Adriano was so friendly, took the time to check in on us, converse with us, and as a matter a fact every worker we had spoken to had given us amazing service, always checking in on us, stopped to take the time to converse with us about our cultures, and even shared their beautiful stories of their travels. Truly felt like we were family friends. 100/10 service for the books.
Anyone who gives this restaurant a bad rating I wouldn’t pay much attention to as they must not like flavourful food or authentic culture.

Best restaurant I have ever visited. Came here for my anniversary with my girlfriend and eating here felt like I was truly immersed in Italy. The staff were incredibly welcoming, and it felt like we were personally invited by the chef and servers. Thank you to Adriano and Chef Adrian for an unforgettable experience. Food was hot, incredibly tasty, and made my mouth water. Service was incredibly friendly and it felt so personal. Even talked to the owners and our server for a while after we finished. This restaurant was the highlight of my trip, and if you were to ever come to Collingwood and want the best and most authentic Italian experience, come to Brunello’s! Will be returning again, and this restaurant holds a special place in my heart.
We went for our anniversary. The ambience is very nice and servers are very polite. The food was good but I cannot say it was over the top. We ordered the lobster ravioli which tasted nice. The soup of day was also good. Then we ordered the prawns, they were decent as well. Also ordered a chicken main which was good.
What an awesome spot. A Calgary mainstay for many years but has recently passed from the original owner to his son (Marizio) and daughter. They know how to treat customers right and make them feel appreciated, almost like family. The food is authentic Italian obviously put together by a group of chefs who care passionately about their craft. I ate her 2 weeks ago and I'm already headed back. I can't believe how many Calgarians I've talked to who either have an amazing story from eating here over the years OR have driven past hundreds of times and wondered what it's like. If you're in the latter group, stop wondering and give it a try - you won't be disappointed.
Been here 3 times and I can surely say that I will not go back. Overall, Terroni is pretty mid. Pastas lacked depth, pizza had too much salt, sides were not memorable (and lacked salt).

Loved everything about this place. The service was warm, friendly and very knowledgeable. The food was INCREDIBLE. Best calamari and pasta I've ever tasted. Can't wait to come back and try everything on the menu.
My wife and I celebrated a late Valentine's Day dinner and as usual the food, service, and atmosphere was outstanding. This is my go too for Italian dining in Calgary. Lick your plate good!!!! The wine was fantastic. This was a four course meal with wine and beer, plus dessert. Our waiter Michael has been a longtime employee and is exceptionally knowledgeable on food and drinks. The owner, Maurizio Abdi, stopped by the table to check how our experience was going. Always a pleasure having this attention to detail.
Excellent Neapolitan pizza place; probably my favourite in the city. Awesome pizza with really good dough and great sauce. Our server was very nice as well, and the actual restaurant has a pleasant Italian ambiance.
Menu prices are incredibly affordable compared to most breakfast/lunch spots in toronto. Service was great, fast and friendly. Absolutely no complaints on my experience here and definitely recommend and will return. Eggs Benedict was wonderful!
Amazing food, and amazing service! Maurizio could not have been more accomodating and welcoming. Truly makes you feel like you are the only one in the restaurant. I couldn’t eat the pork on the set menu, and they provided me with something even better. Truly grateful! & Evelyn was a great server! Props!
Their upstairs is wonderful - even had a DJ. The service was exceptional and every plate was really good. The pizza is consistently good at all their locations but, based on ambiance, this one might be my favourite. Tried & true.

I've been coming to La Brezza since I was just 3 years old and honestly, it's like they can do no wrong. Every single time I eat here, it's a solid 10/10 experience. The food? Amazing. The vibes? Perfect. It's like every dish they serve is a hit. Seriously, if you haven't tried this place out in Calgary, you're seriously missing out. It's been a staple for me for years, and it never gets old. Trust me, give it a shot and you're gonna be wondering why you didn't come here sooner. Best spot in the city, hands down.

Went here to have lunch and meet up with an old friend I hadn't seen in a long time, we ended up staying for many hours and the wait staff didn't pressure us or make us feel unwelcome after a few hours. In fact the service was brilliant. The atmosphere and aesthetic was unpretentious and homey, and the food was good, although only a few vegetarian options Great service tho! Thank you!

This evening outing was a success for a first time visit! A none reservation drop in and was not disappointed.
From the out side looks of a small house from years gone by. Inside was masterpiece of cuisine and attention to detail in the food.
The service was spectacular even though the large party of a family celebrating. We were still treated as a valued guest.
The food was on point in presentation and taste. It’s always a wonderful thing when a small business is invested in their own success and it shows!
The Lamb Shank was very delicious and likely the best I’ve ever had. The Linguini was so flavour and pasta was cooked to perfection. Am so happy to be looking forward to more visits to come!

I came on a Monday at 2:30pm. Rang the bell and was met with a gentleman who said greetings when he met me. I was amazed, he was going at it while baking the pizzas. He offered salami with honey, pepperoni, cheese and vegetarian. This establishment is professional and honey and clean. The gentleman working was quite nice and thoughtful. I recommended this establishment. Slices are available 12-4 and dine in 5pm-closing.
I recently held my son's Confirmation celebration at Villaggio and the whole experience was exceptional. From the onset, Pina, Villaggio's event coordinator, ensured that no detail was missed. We met with Chef Tony who was awesome to work with and helped us select a fabulous menu. On the event day, our servers, Nick, Robert, and bartender, Bianca, were amazing. The service was excellent; they were so friendly, attentive, and professional. The food was also top-notch! Kudos to everyone in the kitchen that day! Thanks to everyone at Villaggio for making our party so memorable. We will be back again for another party!

We got the burrata and honey pizza and it was really good. The combination of the creamy burrata, slightly acidic marinara sauce and sweet hot honey is unmatched. The basil was the perfect addition for that pop of freshness. I like how thin the crust is, while being not floppy when you hold a slice.
Service was fine. They’re not running to serve you or overly friendly. It’s a good, busy and casual vibe.

What a fabulous little gem. Started with calamari which was crispy outside, succulent and juicy inside. Then onto my main... a duck ragout pasta that made my eyes roll and my toes curl. Very good value. Our wait person was attentive and friendly. And our dessert, a caramel toffee pudding was ridiculously delicious. Couldn't recommend it more highly. Oh...and I found free parking right outside the door. May for me.
Really great food and service, highly recommend eating here. Server(s) were good as we had a couple different people check on us a few times and good recommendations from the menu. Good wine selection at decent prices. Originally sat at 2 person table right beside two other couples and not his for conversation or privacy. We asked to be moved to the bar area in front of the kitchen and that was way better. That was the only reason for 4 stars, not 5.
What madness. How could you charge $33.00 for a bowl that’s 3/4 empty and then tell me that’s the portion size? C’mon Terroni do better. Queen street location.

Good environment, service and tasty food. I found it a bit thirsty even after I came home. We had a great Time, parking available on queen street or side streets.
I went to there for happy hour. Very cheap subject to the high inflation nowadays. The food quality is ok, I have no complain based on the price.
One of the best Italian restaurants I have been to across Canada. The food was lip smacking good. We had made reservations. The ambience is great. The place was completely packed when we were there. Everything we had was fabulous. The Fungi Ravioli was the clear winner amongst Everything we ordered. Our server Ivana was par excellence withe her service. Friendly, great recommendations and a great smile. A must visit place.
Wife and I split a ceasar salad, spinach gorgonzola gnocchi, and lamb shank. The salad was perfectly dressed, the flavours of the gnocchi and lamb were on point and complemented each other nicely. They clearly put in some effort on their Christmas decor. Service was prompt, and we were both stuffed at the end of the meal. It was freezing cold and rainy when we went and it was just what we needed. Price was fair, overall a great experience.
The Pizza:
I don’t know if you noticed but basically half my pizza is not eatable because it’s BURNT and it tasted very bitter. All the pizza tasted super bitter and nasty because of it. ($24)
Side not: none of the pizzas had any cheese (so sad)
Now we had a party of 12 here. Mostly everyone who ordered the pizza had it burnt similar to this.

We also didn’t stop there! We ordered a cocktail ($17) and 100% of the glass was ICE! Thats crazy. I’m not sure if anyone has ever saw that video online of someone pulling the ice out of the glass and the liquid itself is literally 1/3 of the glass.

Never introduced her name….Every. Single. Time she passed by my chair (about 10 or so times) she kept bumping my chair and it was so annoying. People at the table were laughing but I wasn’t. I moved my chair in so much to the point where the person sitting in front of me kept knocking my leg by accident lol. Lastly, at the end, my wife was sitting next to me, you know I had my arm around her shoulder and the server bends down over in between our heads, is pushing on my arm and locking it into place. I legitimately could not move. She did this to pull the dirty dishes from us and move them between our heads! Like why. I’ve never had such bad food and service at once.
Overall:
This is my first time at this location, but 3rd time to Terroni and it was never THIS BAD. Normally from my other experiences I would rate Terroni an overall 1/5 if you order the pizza and 2/5 if you order pasta. Value for money here is terrible.

Such a little gem in collingwood. Yummy Italian dishes, intimate and cosy atmosphere and wonderfully attentive service. Great spot for date night or a weeknight dinner outing.
Food: The pizzas are small and they skimp on tomato sauce and cheese. The sourdough bread was good. (2/5)

This used to be our go-to pizza place in the neighborhood. Recently, we ordered 3 pizzas for takeout - and they came with more crust than middle (see picture). We contacted Mattachioni and just never heard back. We will be switching to north of Brooklyn as our go-to after this.
Pizza was average at best. Friends got pasta and the pasta looked better than the pizza. Drinks were alright. Service was nice and the atmosphere was cool and intimate. Fans of The Simpsons will enjoy the names of the cocktails. Overall, the food was just okay.
Sourdough bread is fantastic. Go early in the day because they do sell out.. The round seeded sourdough had good heft and weight, a 2pounder for sure. The bread is best cut into thick slices slathered with butter, lol.

Came here with 3 other people, sat at that table beside the washroom. Food and drinks were really good. We got the burrata with focaccia and beef carpaccio to start and both were delicious! My boyfriend and I both got pastas and you can tell the pasta is homemade. I never finish my food but I definitely did here. Espresso martini and the Nutella croissant dessert is so die for, sooo god damn delicious!!

It took her about 10 minutes to greet us, she didn’t offer bread until I asked (I saw that they serve complimentary bread), didn’t ask if we needed anything with our meals, didn’t even attempt to make any sort of conversation with us. Maybe I’m being a little picky with my service but I’m also a server and it’s easy to take an order… it’s more tedious to create an experience for customers.

Came here for dinner the other night. They don’t take reservations but we were seated quickly. The tables are a bit close together, makes things a bit awkward when it gets busy.
We shared the burrata appetizer and a pear and walnut pizza. The burrata was really fresh and flavourful. We weren’t able to substitute the gorgonzola on the pizza which was a little disappointing but we still really enjoyed it.

I've been eating here for a few years. They make authentic Italian pizza, great atmosphere, and decent speed of service. Other mains are delicious also. The only criticism I have is the speed of service. Don't be hangry, but have an appetite.

I recently had the pleasure of hosting my daughter's bridal shower at Villaggio Ristorante and I can't express enough what a wonderful experience it was.
The restaurant's interior is elegant and spacious with a welcoming atmosphere. Tony and Pina were a delight to deal with; from assisting with menu choices, co-ordinating the decorations and advising on the logistics of the day. They were accommodating and friendly.
The food was delicious! Each course was flavourful, the portions were generous with an elegant presentation.
Throughout the day, the staff's attentiveness to the needs of the guests was exceptional. The servers were courteous and friendly which added to the joyful experience of the day.
Overall, the bridal shower was success. The venue, delicious food, impeccable service and warm, inviting atmosphere were a big part of our memorable day. I highly recommend Villaggio Ristorante as a perfect place to celebrate any special event.

SO FIRE. I got the clam chowder soup(it was the soup special of the day) and the VEAL TORTELLINI!!! Best pasta I’ve ever had. My server was Jeffrey and he was so knowledgeable and sweeet! Great great service. Very attentive and kind.

We celebrated my son’s baptism & 1st birthday at Pizza e Pazzi last weekend. It was an excellent experience from beginning to end. We had 40 guests and everyone loved their food. The portions were large and delicious. The customer service was superb. We’ll be back for sure! Don’t hesitate to book them for any private event. They won’t disappoint.
Nodo Junction has been on my must try Italian food list for a few months and it met the expectations! Great Italian food with an inviting menu that will have you coming back to try everything.
Our table got a variety of pasta dishes including Gnocchi, ravioli, bucatini, papardelle. They were all delicious and unique. Cocktails were also unique and they have an extensive drinks menu. I tried the Nico. Service was also fast and friendly

I love the atmosphere, so cozy and charming. Nicest staff! And the FOOD is amazing. The mussels in white wine sauce added 10 years to my life. Everyone I’ve dined with here raves about their meals.
Got the special Lamb with mushroom gnocchi, the lamb was cold while the sauce was barely room temperature, the gnocchi was hot but the sauce was pretty cool in comparison, flavours were mid at best, really wasn’t anything to write home about. The ravioli was okay, the asparagus was some of the most bitter I’ve ever tasted, i do enjoy the flavour of asparagus but this was way too much. Im really not picky with food and usually give good reviews even if the food is just alright; service was lacking, no bread to start which other tables had, waitress seemed unsure of her own menu and the food being poorly done all contributed to this 2 star. Seemed like this restaurant got lazy after their previous streak of great reviews. Wont be coming back, dont really recommend.

We walked in around 5:30 and got a table right away. Place is lovely and the food was fantastic. We got calamari and an 18 inch pizza with half salami and half spicy vodka. Service was nice, our waiter kept coming by with water and asking how everything was. Calamari was delicious and tender, I would recommend it if you are really into cumin seasoning. Really recommends the salami if your looking for sweet spicy and salty!
Came here for an early dinner and there patio was the only available seating. It was nice but very close on street. The huge pizza and Caesar salad was the best part about this place. Even though the pasta was good, the portion was way too small for the price. Also I appreciate casual staff and comfortable work environments but the host didn’t need to be vaping at the host stand. If I came back I would grab a slice to go.
My fiancé and I had our rehearsal dinner at Villaggio and we had a wonderful experience! We coordinated our event and menu with Pina who was friendly, efficient and quick to respond. She set up a beautiful event for our party of 22 people. We were seated in the front room surrounded by a beautiful backdrop of windows and wine bottles. Our server Justin was so kind, quick and helpful. All the staff at Villaggio made us feel so welcomed and taken care of! We will definitely be visiting Villaggio again :)
Ordered dinner here tonight and it was phenomenal! Only thing is that it lacked some toppings but overall good pizza place and nice service. A plus that that there is a lot of parking space. Would recommend!
Didn’t give us bread. Service was super slow. Moscow Mule wasn’t in a copper mug?? $10 for sparkling water. Spent $250 for two ppl and the food was just average.
We ordered the Working B Breakfast ($14.99) with chocolate chip (+$1.99) pancakes and the Jerk Shrimp Spaghetti ($19.99). We had asked for the jerk shrimp spaghetti to be subbed with penne instead and for it to be extra spicy. We were disappointed to see that we were charged and extra $2 for the extra spicy request (something our server hadn’t mentioned prior). We were especially disappointed since the pasta wasn’t even spicy and they just seemed to add chilli flakes to it. The pasta sauce was also on the sweeter side and pretty watery. We have no complaints for the breakfast orders as they were pretty standard. One of our friends ordered the steak and eggs and found the steak to be well done even though they asked for medium rare. Overall I would visit again since they were pretty accommodating to our large group and their lunch specials were pretty economical.
The food was okay, I don't have much to say about this place. The lunch specials menu was very cheap so I may go back again to try this. I got a Spicy Jerk Shrimp pasta and it was very bland. I requested for extra spicy and received a +$2 charge on my bill, I wasn't notified prior that there was an upcharge for this request. I feel like this should have been informed prior as it definitely took me by surprise. The pasta was mid, I wouldn't order the pasta again. On the other hand, the service was great! Unfortunately, my friend ordered the steak and eggs, she requested for medium rare and ended up with well done, which was a disappointment. Overall, I may go again to try out their lunch specials as it was very cheap, I would not order the pasta again. The parking lot is also very congested as there is a gas station right beside so be aware!
Our server was excellent, and funny! We got the smoked salmon starter, seafood linguine, risotto, carbonara, lamb, scallops and prawns and almost every desert! Food was great, I especially loved the scallops.
We came here on whim at 4 am and got our own poutine. I'm not a poutine enthusiastic, but I've had my fair share of poutine, and this was not only affordable but tasted amazing. They had other cheap eats on the menu, so do check them all out. We went with something small and simple and this was it. Also perfect when you're looking for a late night Diner.

Food here is mindblowing! They are a family run restaurant and really put their heart into what they serve! The staff is super friendly. We had the shrimps appetizer and pesto pasta both were delicious. For desserts we had their tiramisu and cannoli, both were great. Definitely worth the price!
From the outside, this place looks like a hole in the wall, but as soon as you walk through the door the room opens up to this wonderful atmosphere. I usually don't like to sit outside because I'm usually cold, but I am so glad they sat us on their back patio. The atmosphere there was fantastic, they have a gorgeous tree that is wrapped in lights, and the service was still very good. We ordered a Stefano pizza and a side of bread, and then later added a decaf cappuccino. The pizza was really tasty and light, the bread felt freshly baked, and the cappuccino was good but small.
Overall, I would recommend this place for a night out.

Had the Steak for 14.99, amazing value. Included your choice of side, soup or salad, and dessert (mango pudding).
Steak was better than I expected for 14.99, it was cooked just right. Cut of meat was cheap as it had some tendons and chewy portions but overall seasoned nicely. Soup was mushroom cream soup, very good actually. Mash potatoes was very nice tasting but was dry, while the seamed vegetables was not great.
Dinner menu was small but concise, consisting mostly of pasta and the steak. Maybe only 10 items
Service was extremely fast, food coming out less than 5 minutes after sitting down. Coupled with their operating hours this is a very good value location to try

This restaurant shouldnt be missed. Our server Jamie was simply a great guy. The food quality, taste, presentation, selection of wines, dessert... service... everything was simply too good. Some attached photos does shows how happy we were. Thanks Villagio for giving us a quick reservation and one of the best dinners. Will see you again soon.
This little Gem in Bridgeland dates back to when all the Flames and Calgary Stampeders used to hang out and now looks little dated but amazing authentic Italian food now managed by former owner’s son Maurizio.

Such a quaint Italian spot in a quiet neighbourhood in downtown Toronto. Their insalata burrata was so fresh and the peach pizza, which is their special right now was refreshing and different.
There’s also a little pantry shopping area for pastas, bread and other cooking items.
It does get busy around lunch time so call in to make reservations or just head down a little earlier.

If you're celiac, this place is fantastic. All kinds of gluten free pasta (long and short). I had the spaghetti carbonara and it was absolutely amazing!! They even brought gluten free bread for the olive oil and balsamic. The bread was so good!
They also have a selection of gluten free desserts, the chocolate cake was unbelievable. I can't say enough about this place. Service was also incredible, knowledge staff. 10/10 would recommend!

Stopped by for a quick slice and really enjoyed it. we saw that the cheese pizza came out fresh so we got a slice with their creamy garlic dip. Solid pie with a crisp and tasty crust, aromatic tomato sauce and lots of cheese. The dip was also stellar with great garlic and parmesan flavours. Nice guy working out front as well.

The food here was fabulous! We had the grilled octopus and it was delicious! The seafood pasta with mussels, clams and shrimp was very well made and very tasty. We also had the squid ink risotto however we weren’t as impressed with that dish. Our server Carl was probably the nicest, funniest and best servers I’ve had the pleasure to deal with. He was top notch ! I’d highly recommend this place!
While I normally don't enjoy Italian cuisine as much as others, I did rather enjoy the dishes I had.
Our waitress was friendly, and food was served rather quickly.
Everyone rather enjoyed their meals, while my favorite was the Bruschetta, I also did enjoy the Lamb Skewers. Both were appetizers.
Worthwhile, if you enjoy Italian and are looking for something on the more affordable side.

My experience here was total satisfaction. The service was perfect, with timing, politeness, execution of professionalism. The food was outstanding. For appetizers, we had the scallops and the escargot, both were melt in your mouth delicious. For the main course we had to seafood linguine, and my friend had the gnocchi. Both dishes were 100% perfect no complaints whatsoever.

One of the best thin crust pizzas I have had in Toronto. The vodka sauce pizza was excellent. My only complaint is that I wish they had more appetizers and small dishes considering the size of their pies. A small size will suffice for 2 people and a large one will be more than enough. We got 2 large and a small for 4 people and had 1 whole pie left. Their service staff are great with Nice location and atmosphere too! The value and quality is definitely there

People didn’t stop coming in , getting coffee, desserts and bread.

We read some good reviews and therefore gave it a try. The place is pity old and looks rotten. Food quality is just so so but edible in this price range. Egg Benedict doesn't look good in presentation and 3 eggs breakfast looks so thin. The only plus sign was the good service provided. If you are looking for quality food, try other alternatives.
Walked in and the smell of the place took me back to my childhood. It smelled like my grandma's house, like something cooking, a sort of canteen.
The service was absolutely great. The food was amazing as well. Loved the pizza crust.
They make some serious sourdough that I was able to take home.

Super value for the AAA Striploin steak that comes with the soup/salad and dessert (mango pudding or ice cream). Foods are delicious and service is good. This restaurant opens 24 hours for all-day breakfast and with large selection of food. Highly recommend for people living in the Scarborough North area.
Update: just sharing my experience, I don’t mind waiting for food but the food experience that night does not worth the time.
Yes I expect it comes with lemon flavor, but I don’t like the fact that it only has lemon flavor and no taste of meat. So I simply don’t like it. Maybe others will so I just want to make sure people don’t have wrong expectations like me.
And unfortunately the linguine comes with sand and rock…

Food is only 3 star, which is unexpected for a 4.6 star restaurant I picked. Appetizer and drink is great, but when entries served the experience starts to go down. The veal seasoning is weird. Some spice (or lemon) makes it very sour so I couldn’t taste any other flavor. The seafood linguini flavor is decent, however they didn’t clean mussel/clam properly so it contains sands/rocks, which is a big thing for this dish.

Mario's catering menu is pretty vast and food quality is great. I have order their catering service since 2017. He has look after some of our family and friends events. Mario has accommodated menus from 10 ppl to 50 +ppl and consistency has always been there. Also, all his staff have always been friendly and respectful.
I tried the large pepperoni pizza and enjoyed it much better than other outlets I have tried so far. It’s only a small space with seating for quick dine in. Dropped my mobile in a rush and they were nice enough to help keep safe till I retrieved it. I will be coming back next time.
Service was excellent (though, the staff could use more training on wearing masks properly). The boar pasta was delicious but the portion size felt small for an adult. The risotto was undercooked so the rice was much firmer. The seafood that it was accompanied by was delicious. Lastly, the bread was not anything special so I hope you offer it for free or much cheaper price in the future. The olive paste was delicious.

Menus on the website under the events page show one price but when you email to inquire further and the price increased by $20 ($57 to $80). In addition, the website said children under 9 were complimentary only to then be told children meals were actually $50. Don’t waste your time with the sketchy pricing and menus.
BAD!!! Chicken on the pizza was very dry and old (see the 3rd pic). The staff was terrible. Very rude and clearly looked like he hates his job (guy that works late shift). Would not come back ever again!
This place has the best ever veal sandwichs, there pizza is homemade and amazing ! There pasta dishes are to die for !! Love this place !! Eggplant parmesan is amazing !

Mario and his team have done a few functions for us fantastic profesional service from Mario and his team. Veals are out of this world and the BBQ he throws are top notch was great meeting this team highly recommend thanks MARIO......

Mario's is a real find. Their lunch special is a veal parmigiana or steak sandwich with salad and pop for about $8 - and the sandwich is the size of your head! Everything's really tasty, too.
