All dirt no grass with two areas, one for small dogs and a larger area for large dogs. There is a watering area and it is very clean. They have benches to sit while the dog runs around. Google maps is way off, they have you parking on I-5 and walking to the playground. We tried to get it to re-route but it only would pull up the same route.
Nice and spacious with a proper fence. All it needs is more sand or grass, it tends to get very muddy and swampy in places after rain
This is listed as "dog park" it is actually Hawthorne park in Medford, there is a big open area that is great for dogs but it is not exclusive for dogs. Great splash pad May through early September, Growers markets on Thursdays in the same time period as splash pad, smaller but fun play area for kids
Nice dog park. Clean but the park itself is filled with homeless and drug use. It is very hot here during summer and I recommend to bring sun gear if planning to hang for awhile!
It was Alright. But too many ansy dogs for my dog. Some scared her. But she had alittle fun.
Health safety concerns..yes for sure. Took my dog there once.

Great park but definitely has some flaws. One is there is always homeless walking around so you have to be cautious. Secondly the bathrooms are so gross. But if you can get past those it's a decent park. Definitely always watch your kids
