I just signed up to Mindful movements recently. They are the only studio in town that offers 6:15am classes. This is the only time that works for my schedule so I’m VERY thankful they offer this. I love the variety that you get with the unlimited monthly subscription. Yoga, Pilates, cycle strength classes. I’m committed! The instructors are inspiring and personable. I felt very welcome and feel this is a long term commitment for me. Highly recommend.

I have recently started to work with a wonderful trainer, Lisa Warriner on a one-on-one basis. She designs the program taking into account my goals, my age (I'm a senior) and my limitations. I can't believe that I'm actually enjoying exercise and starting to feel some benefits 😊.
My husband has started to work with Lisa as well (his idea!). He was telling me last evening that he really enjoys working with her and is also starting to feel better.
This is rather surprising coming from 2 people who, till now, have intensely disliked exercise.
Lisa is "da best"

This past Monday I attended the "Yoga for Men - Beginner Class" with Angela H.

Having participated in a few yoga classes over the years, I decided to enroll in this class after a significant hiatus from yoga.

Angela's warm welcome set the tone for the session as she guided us through the entire studio, ensuring we felt at ease in the space. She then provided a comprehensive introduction to the upcoming 10 sessions, inviting us to share our expectations and any specific bodily limitations, given our age.

Throughout the class, Angela demonstrated exceptional patience, delivering instructions with an eloquent and calming voice. The pace was unhurried, and she took the time to address the needs of our group of older men. It seemed evident to me, as well as the other male participants, that we thoroughly enjoyed the session under Angela's guidance.

In conclusion, I wanted to express my gratitude and commend Angela for her excellent teaching. It was apparent that she genuinely enjoys guiding individuals like us through the practice of yoga.

I have felt welcome and enjoyed every single one of my experiences at Mindful Movements. Every class I have been to is unique and challenging. The instructors complement each other's styles so that there is always something for EVERYONE! If you have been looking for a yoga, spin or pilates studio look no further!

Love this studio! The atmosphere is cozy and inviting. You definitely feel a sense of community at this studio. Kym (owner) is very involved and inviting. Robyn & Lisa are wonderful instructors! Would recommend :)

I was referred to Lisa Warriner just over two months ago for trauma sensitive yoga. That referral has honestly changed the path my life was on. I had never done yoga before or even considered it. I was very skeptical. Immediately Lisa made me feel comfortable and provided an environment where I feel comfortable to be vulnerable, which is huge for me. Lisa is an amazing teacher. She pays attention to every small detail about you to ensure that you are getting exactly what you need. She has done many different styles of yoga with me and also recommended different classes for me. All of which I really enjoyed. Lisa provides an environment where you never feel judged or scared to try things. When you do try and fail (which for a first timer like me happens a lot) I have never felt embarrassed. Lisa is right there to encourage you to keep trying. She is always making sure that your alignment is right to ensure your health and safety and always finds the perfect balance between pushing you to your limit but never over reaching what your mind and body can handle in the moment. In the short time I have been with Lisa her teaching has made a profound impact on my mental, physical, emotional and spiritual well being. I would highly recommend Lisa. Her teaching style, personality, ability to connect, environment, energy and presence are amazing!! You won’t be disappointed.

I see Amber Irwin for massage therapy at Mindful Movements. She is the best!!! She always manages to straighten out my knots and I always feel better than when I came in. She is very thorough and mindful of your medical history. I've learnt a lot of tips on stretching and holistic ways to improve my well-being from Amber. Thanks so much, would highly recommend.
