Innovative Arts

My son has had a fantastic experience so far this year (it was a bit of a gamble since he had limited musical theater experience and it was a regular commitment). He fit right in with his cast and enjoys going to the rehearsals. Innovative Arts staff are caring and knowledgeable. Would def recommend.

We heard about IA on Instagram and decided to have my son audition on a whim. Best whim ever! He had such a wonderful experience as Bruce in Matilda the musical. The training, the set, the costumes, lighting, photographer, everything was so impressive. I really loved the entire show. It was so well done I almost forgot I was watching school aged performers on stage and not adults. He's excited to finally be back working on his next musical.

What an amazing program for youth to grow and learn in the Arts. My son has been participating in Innovative Arts performance programs for several years and he looks forward to every upcoming season and weekly sessions. His directors have been so supportive and encouraging and his skills and confidence has grown with their guidance. Innovative Arts keep parents and students well informed with great communications and really treat their students as part of an inclusive and positive artistic family.

This was our first year with Innovative Arts and they delivered an amazing final performance of Six. My child loved it and we can't wait to see how things go when they are able to be in person for a season of rehearsals

This year was our daughter’s first year with Innovative Arts. Her group was performing Frozen! She really enjoyed the first month of classes- found the teachers engaging and welcoming and her fellow cast mates welcoming as well! She had a lot of fun! A special shout out to the incredibly talented vocal, dancing and acting coaches- Diana, Joel, Arlene and Harold! We were so impressed with all the staff. Kennedy- thank you for being so positive and welcoming! Always greeting everyone with a smile.

Unfortunately due to the pandemic they had to pause production on the show but with Sophie and Nathan’s guidance they were able to continue classes online and even managed to record their performances individually in a recording studio to be put together to make the show complete! The logistics of figuring all of this out must have been a challenge but things ran so smoothly and my daughter was thrilled with the process! Thank you Innovative for making something special during these challenging times! Highly recommend and hope to be back on stage soon!

My daughter has taken part in two musical productions at Innovative Arts and is working on her third as I write this. Innovative Arts runs an excellent program for anyone interested in musical theatre. In my experience, they do a good/fair job at casting for their productions and our daughter has grown as a result of her experiences here. She enjoys it very much and always comes home happy and full of positive energy on Innovative nights. If you are wondering whether it is worth trying, I would say yes, it's definitely worth trying to see if it is a good fit for your child. Great people running things there and very good productions as an end result.
